A great location. Proper 3* service. Average breakfast. Very friendly and competent staff. Very overpriced, like all Paris hotel (alas). But it's hardly possible to find a decent place in this city cheaper than 200 dollars in season. more

This was my third stay at this charming boutique hotel. The staff is great (friendly and helpful!), the room's are spacious. Breakfast was superb. The location of the hotel is fantastic...close to Louvre, metro, and great Paris exploration! I will be back! I bring small groups to France and happy to stay here and to send clients, too! more
We booked the nearby Hotel Montpensier based on the reviews on this site. Don't do it. Right after we arrived we decided to move and checked this hotel out, just around the corner. What first attracted us was the unusually friendly nature of the staff. We toured the rooms being offered (a double and a Jr. suite for our 4... more
Location is very good, lobby would be fine if it were not for unpleasant odor that greeted us as we first came in. Some reception staff very nice, others not so. Our room was rather large, with pretty wallpaper and comfortable beds. Carpet and blankets worn out and unwelcoming. Bathroom very large but mostly empty and cold, not very comfortable.... more
We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Moliere Hotel in Paris. The hotel is everything one can expect from a 3*. The rooms are as described in their official website, and I consider this a plus. The room was charming, but the condition was worn. I did not want to walk on the carpet without socks. I cleaned the swinging doors that lead into the bathroom -- I did not want to touch them until I did. I walked uphill every morning when I stepped out of bed to walk toward the closet. There was a... more
Lovely traditionally decorated hotel. Very, very attentive front desk. Great location. more
Great location! A short stroll from the Louvre on a charming little side street. Plenty of restaruants on the side streets and the tourist areas. Great little shop for bottled water and snacks at the end of the street. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast room was charming with efficient staff. Hotel decor was shabby chic but fit... more
My first time in Paris. I stay in hotels 100 nights a year because of travelling with my work. I was here for a pleasure trip with my husband and two grandchildren, teenagers. We had two rooms. This place is like staying in the oldest, creakiest house you have ever walked through. The first room they gave us we almost... more
We stayed here for a weekend in June 2006 (2 nights). Excellent location near to restaurants and museums. Staff were friendly, room was large with a balcony overlooking the street. The balcony had 2 deck chairs on it and we enjoyed sitting out there drinking wine in the evening. We didn't have the breakfast as it was too expensive. Overall,... more
