I stayed in February for 4 nights with my mother for her birthday. Hotel was easy to find ( literally across the street from the Raspil stop ) Staff was extremely friendly and spoke English. We're able to give recommendations for restaurants etc... Room was small ( typical for Paris ) but was laid out well and had all the... More

Hotel Aiglon is a comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The breakfast was good. It is located very close to a metro and the bus no. 68 stop. The room and bathroom were clean but very hot even with the heating turned down to the lowest setting. My room was on the 4th floor and the lift was out of use... More

This was a fabulous boutique hotel experience. Room was very spacious, bed extremely comfortable. Fantastic power shower. Right beside metro, yet walking distance to plenty of places to eat or shop. Staff very friendly with excellent English. I could not fault anything about this Hotel.

To sum it up succinctly, my wife and I have had very few stays in "boutique-type" hotels that were as all-around perfect as our stay at the Aiglon was. Upon arriving, it was immediately apparent that the staff was friendly, terrifically helpful and genuine. Our "classic" room had been recently updated and the interior was very nice - nice enough... A comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a good location. Our rooms were tastefully furnished, well equipped and the bed was marvelously comfortable. Excellent restaurants are nearby (apart from the well-known tourist destinations).

We had a lovely short weekend stay at Aiglon Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our trip was a surprise for my wife's birthday, and the hotel kindly upgraded us to a mini suite which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is clean, tidy and the rooms are very modern (at least ours was). The location is very close... More

The location is excellent right across the road from Raspail metro station. The rooms are large and very nice decor. The breakfast is good and overall I had enjoyed my 5 nights stay there in December'15. i intend to go there again.

The Hotel Aiglon is a gem - we spent a week. The location is perfect in Montparnasse - not amidst the tourist hordes on the right bank, yet across the street from Metro line 4 and 6 and one stop from Denfort where you can pick up the RAR-B to CDG. Metro 4 stops at Citè which is incredibly convenient.... More

Nice hotel in a good location. Good restaurant and bars in the direct neighbourhood. St. Germain, Quarter Latin, Ile de France are all in walking distance. We booked via the website directly and when we arrived we were given a small room on the top floor with a small window. We went back to reception and asked for a different... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
