Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my birthday and it was delightful! It has an excellent location, with the Luxembourg Gardens literally on your doorstep. The hotel is located on a quiet street, but close to restaurants and shops. All of the Paris attractions are easily accessible via walking, or for longer distances there are Metro stations nearby. The... More

Booked this hotel for my girlfriends 21st and was delighted with it. It took me a long time to pick this hotel and is was a great choice. In a great quiet location inces away from the Jardin du luxembourg which is beautiful. Had great evenings sitting with the locals on the grass. The hotel is within walking distance to... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The manager was kind to grant my request for a room on the top floor. The room is a bit small but I think is standard in Paris. It was cozy, had a nice view but most importantly, I felt the bed and the sheets were sparkling clean. We had breakfast in... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The hotel was chosen because of its excellent location (Luxembourg garden, walking distance to many other attractions, close to RER and Metro lines) and the price was relatively good. When we have checked it, the things became even better :) Very friendly personnel, let us check in early at the morning since... More

The hotel was in a fabulous location, close to Luxembourg gardens and in walking distance to lots of cafes. There is also a laundromat close by. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny, but we used the hotel as a place to sleep so all we needed was a comfortable bed and a clean room which is... More

This hotel is an inexpensive choice in a great neighborhood near Luxembourg Gardens. The rooms are small although they have some larger ones. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. It is a residential area near good buses and metros. Plenty of restaurants and shops. Very quiet. My wife and I have stayed there many times and always come back.

We spent 3 nights on a 3rd floor room (there is an elevator) at this quiet, charming, and well-managed hotel. The room is small (but as expected in Paris) it was clean, well furnished with a comfortable bed with crisp clean linens. The bathroom with shower was clean and functional. Overall excellent value for Paris; staff were friendly & helpful,... More

We stayed here for two nights for my husbands 30th birthday. I have to say the room did not look like what I saw online! Tiny room so small the bathroom door didn't open all the way from hitting the bed. Very outdated decor, looked classic online but actually it's just old. Had a window that didn't open, it was... This Quirky hotel we picked for price and location, it is what it is a small room but clean, fresh towels provided every day but its just a place to put your head down after a long day walking around Paris. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
