Standard sized European room, but small by American standards. The only real issue was on Friday night music reverberated through the walls of a nearby bar until well past 2:00 a.m. Otherwise the room was adequate enough.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. It was our first trip to Paris and we loved the location. It is quiet and the Luxenbourg Gardens are lovely. It was very central and we did walk to most attractions. It is a walk but it is easy flat walking. The staff were multilingual and very helpful. It is a boutique... More

This is a typically Parisien hotel. The rooms are comfortable but basic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotels strongest point is its location its situated beside the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with easy access to the RER and metro lines. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. We were lucky to have room 64... More

You chose not to honor a request from Expedia directly when they called you about a death in our family and our need to change dates. Expedia approved the change. YOU chose not to. we were not canceling, just changing dates. Sorry that your management chooses to display such an appalling lack of compassion.

Dear Madam, I am reading your new comment and I am sorry but I do not understand your point and why you are so rude with us. You have already written a bad comment on April 22nd under an other name and I did explain you the rules for non refundable reservation specially when made through On Line travel Agencies... More

I booked this hotel in advance and understood the no-refund policy.. I did the same with my air tickets not intending for anything to change. My mother and I were meant to have this trip to Paris but we had a death in the family. Still keeping intentions to make this trip, we were hoping to push the dates to... More

Dear Madam, I am reading your comments on TripAdvisor. Thank you for having taken time to write despite your difficult period with relative death. However, your remark on the hotel service seems to be quiet unfair. I need to remind you that you did not make reservation direct with hotel but with Expedia; you did choose Expedia special offer with... More

By choosing Perreyve for your stay in Paris, you definitely win. The location is perfect, just beside the Luxembourg Gardens and the Metro station there. The Quartier Latin is round the corner from the hotel and you can practically walk anywhere in Paris from Perreyve. Lots of cafés, bars and restaurants in this area, no shortage of bakeries and supermarkets,... More

Hello, Thank you for your nice comments you wrote on our family hotel. We were happy to have you as guest again so many years after your last visit. My father, who met you years ago, was very happy to see you. Have a good time and I hope to see you again soon with us. Best Regards, Laurent DOUMERGUE More

I don't have a lot to compare this to as it was my first trip to Paris. It was a solo trip as my wife was travelling for business so I was looking for a decent location, close to the RER trains and the Metro. This place really filled the bill. I arrived early in the morning after an overnight... More

I have had only good experiences at this hotel! The helpful, friendly staff, the location, and the hotel in general all meet my requirements and aesthetic sensibilities. When I'm in my pleasant, clean room with updated bathrooms, with the tall, long windows open, I feel like I am actually living in Paris. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is... More

We stayed here for a week during late October. The hotel is modest, but very clean and we did not find the staff rude (I noticed this was an issue in other reviews). The bed was very comfortable, and our balcony window opened up to let the autumn breeze, and wafting scent from the corner boulangerie, keep our room fresh... More

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times on business and have always had a good experience. The pluses for the hotel are its location one block from the Luxembourg Gardens, being on a quiet street away from the tourist hordes, helpful staff most of whom speak excellent English and are free of the snotty attitude still present... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
