Perreyve Hotel is a Good choice in the 6th arr. Very calm neighborhood. Very close to St Germain and St Michel(shopping and clubbing destinations) close to Metro station. 1 min walking to luxembourg Garden. Tiny room but very clean. Very helpful staff especially Tambi :) the Receptionist

This hotel was great! Still in Paris but it took a metro ride to get to the main attractions, say a ten min walk to the metro & depending where you were going a ten or fifteen minute trip including changing lines if need be. It was very clean, the rooms were dated but in great condition, the staff were... More

First, I want to start by saying there wasn't anything truly awful about my stay. Like many of the hotels in Europe the Perreyve is an older building with tiny rooms. If I had any complaint regarding my stay here it would have been the hotel's issues with the Internet connection (there was a weak signal in my room and... More

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in April 2015. The hotel is small, but nicely situated close to the Luxembourg Gardens and not too far from nice restaurants, bars and 2 Metro stations. The rooms was very small, similar to the elevator, which barely fits 2 people. The bathroom was also very small. But the rooms and bathroom... More

A great location for our first trip to Paris and as stated close to the subway. We found the room very small and hard with 2 cases of luggage. The breakfast was very basic and we only had it once - lot of other choice nearby anyway. Other than that the room was quiet and tidy. A little annoying was... More

We stayed here for four nights in June 2015 and overall found it very good value for money. The rooms are of a reasonable European size with the bonus of either a large window or small balcony. The hotel is 6 stories, with a small lift (2 ppl or 1 + luggage) and about 3-4 rooms per floor. We were... More

The location was terrific, very close to one of the city's many 'Velib' bike rental points. We requested two separate beds, but the hotel apparently never received it. The bed was comfortable nevertheless. Breakfast was also alright, but there were only sweet items available, which made it a very sugary breakfast. Apart from the average amenities, the rooms were very... More

Standard sized European room, but small by American standards. The only real issue was on Friday night music reverberated through the walls of a nearby bar until well past 2:00 a.m. Otherwise the room was adequate enough.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. It was our first trip to Paris and we loved the location. It is quiet and the Luxenbourg Gardens are lovely. It was very central and we did walk to most attractions. It is a walk but it is easy flat walking. The staff were multilingual and very helpful. It is a boutique... More

This is a typically Parisien hotel. The rooms are comfortable but basic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotels strongest point is its location its situated beside the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with easy access to the RER and metro lines. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. We were lucky to have room 64... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
