We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at Christmas time. We arrived hotel before 9am and already managed to check in despite the peak Christmas time. The room is quite big compared to Paris standard. It is in excellent location with majority of the sight seeing spots and shopping area within walking distance. I didn't try the breakfast at... More

We stayed here for two nights on a long weekend in Paris. The hotel is in a fantastic location, you can walk to most of the sights you would like to see, or alternatively the hotel is minutes from Madeline metro stop, which gives you easy access to the city also. Great restaurants and bars nearby and an easy trip... More

By La Madeleine, Printemps and Galleries Lafayette Good restaurants nearby, Room was clean, staff were friendly. Spent 9 nts. there. will stay again. More of a 3 star than 4. Adequate for no more than you stay in the room.

We booked this hotel based on recommendation on trip advisor and booking. It's really hard to rate this hotel. It's a very small hotel with small rooms. The hotel is clean and designed nicely. The rooms are clean and in hood shape. But i'm not sure as regard to his star rating. It can be a 4 star but i... More

Just back from a 5 night break in Paris, stayed at the wonderful Hotel Vignon. Our room was at the top, on the 6th floor, spotlessly clean, nice size, very comfortable bed. Very friendly people on reception. We loved the front lobby / lounge area on the ground floor with its 1960's arty furniture and pictures. The room also had... More

We stayed at this hotel twice in July, first for 4 nights including National (Bastille) Day then for the end of Tour de France. We were able to easily walk to the centre of all the activity. Easy walk to the main shopping areas and the main tourist attractions, but in a quiet street. Some good simple restaurants within walking... More

I stayed here in 2013, and am going back in a week. It really has everything you'd need. It's clean, the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which is not always the case in Paris. No snootiness, they just do their best for you. The location is really unbelievable. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a weird one. When you walk in, the lobby is very modern and clean. Then you get into an elevator that is very creepy and when the doors open to the second floor, which is the floor we we issued, it gets creepier. There are red really old smelly rugs and what looks like 2 room doors and... More

I echo some of the other comments. This hotel looksunassuming from the front but don't be fooled. The rooms are modern, well equipped and have all you need for a comfortable stay. I found the rooms very warm so had to open the window for some breeze but that was due to unseasonable temperatures. Staff were great. They humoured me... More

The hotel is located in the central 8-th district of Paris nearby most of places of interest including museums and historical monuments as well as shops. Almost all of them are in short walk distance. At the same time the hotel is situated on the quiet street and there is no any noise. The hotel is neat and clean. Personnel... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
