The Hotel is in a good location to experience true Paris life and has plenty of nearby bars and restaurants used by locals. You get what you pay for and we had a small rather claustrophic room up 4 flights of stairs. It was warm and stuffy as the AC was not on and there was no control for the... More

Fairly spacious, modern room in a good neighborhood. View from 5th floor was nice. Breakfast has varied options, but no warm food and meat and cheeses are processed. Overall pretty happy. Room design was cool, and downstairs lobby had a nice classic Paris feel. Internet was spotty downstairs.

We stayed there for four nights. Friendly staff and very helpful. Clean and well furnished rooms, delicious breakfast. Easy Metro access. Very quiet place and in the same time so close to main boulevards. Free WiFi access, the compliment with the water and coffee the first day made us feel at home :) Bath amendments were supplied every day. To... More

I have traveled all over Europe with my 5 children and stayed in many places. This spring I also brought a group of first time travelers to France and we stayed 5 days at the Hotel Peyris to tour Paris. It was a PERFECT choice. The staff was VERY kind and patient and helpful, the rooms extremely clean and well... More

As a first time visitor to Paris, I would return to the Hotel Peyris Opera in a heartbeat. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and stylish. The room made good use of the space. It was small, but not cramped, with a lovely view of the surrounding neighborhood. Speaking of the neighborhood, the location was convenient. It is walking distance from... More

Beautiful little hotel near Grand Boulevards metro. Affordable stay, nice room and excellent staff. Stayed for 3 nights and easily got around central Paris. I would stay here again because it was a modest Parisian hotel with a great location.

Definitely recommend!! Great friendly staff at the front desk who spoke several different languages, including English, and were extremely helpful (even allowed us early access to breakfast one morning before our 6:15 a.m. departure to Normandy) Clean and updated rooms - delicious and plentiful breakfast each a.m. - close enough to walk to most sights (a little far to Eiffel... Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last week and felt we needed to write a review as we couldn't fault it! The location- perfect! In the opera area with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The area felt safe even late at night, and the hotel is a ten minute walk to the Hard... More

This is a clean, well appointed hotel in a convenient location and generally quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The cold breakfast buffet offers a good choice and each time we have been the tables are cleared promptly and the buffet replenished as necessary. As the lift is small but charmingly French you have to have a little patience... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
