My wife and I are Paris short break "regulars" and my pursuit of bargains has resulted in our staying in some rather poor hotels - but not this time! Peyris was selected from the Avios website as we had decided to use our points to get a decent hotel. Although our room was not spacious, it was the largest we... More

The location is great. It is close to several Metro stations - with access to several different lines. There are many restaurants and supermarkets close to the area. The area is safe - I never felt unsafe walking home along at night. The room is clean and nicely decorated and the desk staff were polite and helpful. My only complaint... More

I was with a group 18 (staff and students). We spent 3 nights here in early March and found the hotel an absolute delight. The breakfast was superb! Staff were very accommodating and made our room available earlier than the planned check-in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris! I hope to return soon! My parents and I stayed here for 8 nights at the beginning of February. The room was not large, but worked fine for our needs. We appreciated the free wifi and the availability to purchase wine and champagne in the lobby. There was also a nice sitting area where you could sip the wine and plan the next day's adventures.... We slept comfortably and felt safe. The location was good enough, and it was close to two metro stops, in addition to the most awesome cheese shop. The staff were kind and helpful. My only wish is for a slightly wider shower, or different fixtures - because it was too easy to bump into the handle and suddenly find myself... More

Our stay in the hotel were 2 nights. We were very central and the desk staff were very helpful and thankfully fluent in English. They were very helpful in the explanation of sightseeing places and the ways of reaching these places, they were very knowledgeable about it ALL. I would like to recommend this hotel. There is a convenience store... More

This is a good hotel if you're looking for a quiet place in the heart of the city. It is close to the metro and very clean. The front desk staff is always happy to help and the metro is a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is limited, but the food is all high quality. Special thanks... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your positive review. Alexandre was glad to be mentioned. We are happy to read that you enjoyed the cleanness and the location of our hotel. We stayed in Paris for 5 nights during December time, as we wanted to visit the christmas markets and experience the magic of Paris during the festive season. We travelled to the hotel by public transport, as the taxis were asking for around €60. I always ask the hotel in advance for public transport information as don't like to waste... More

So this hotel is set down a quiet back street, but not a scary quiet back street. Close enough to the partying, but far enough not to hear it when you want to go to bed. There are a few other hotels nearby it too, and also places to eat. The hotel room was totally funky, and more like a... More

Dear Guest, What a surprise to read your comment about breakfast in our house! As you can see, in the other reviews, guests appreciate the quality of the morning meal and usually write that it helps for a long day visiting Paris. We regret that you hated it. Thank you to have mentioned that the room was comfortable. Best Regards,... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
