I stayed here for about 10 days and absolutely loved it. I booked it initially for 2 nights but I loved it and I extend my stay. Great location just 4 minutes walk to metro station grand boulevards. Great location, quiet room, helpful staff, clean room, room with a nice design. Recommended indeed.

Stayed here for three nights in August. Pros: Excellent location, rooms not a bad size, interesting decor! Cons: The light was out in our bathroom, we had to report this to three different people on staff before it was fixed (the first one wasn't even noted in the file). Bar wasn't open either - no doubt because it was August.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We regret that the light was fixed with some delay. It should have been done just after your first request. Regarding the Bar, it is still open round the clock, even in summer. We do serve hot, cold drinks and alcohols. Do not hesitate to ask our staff next time. Hoping to welcome... More

A real gem in the middle of Paris. We went for the Tour du France and upon arriving initial thoughts were not good, nice shiny hotel across the road from this one which is a little drab. Once through the front entrance doors the receptionist was a real help (for the whole weekend all the team were helpful and friendly)... More

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a computer available in the sitting area next to the lobby which was handy as I had fried my iphone! Rooms were small as expected, but furnished nicely, clean, and with a/c. The only drawback was the one person lift, but I only used it going up so it was... More

Worst experience!!!!! Concierge don't speak English! No one helps with tours! Elevator only fits one person and a small luggage. Staff are not friendly. First time in Paris and will never visit it again. Horrible!!!! Location is far from most attractions. Beds were hard and queen size were 2 single beds made up as single beds then stuck together!!!! Pillows... More

Dear Mrs. Roberta, We are really sorry that you were not satisfied by our hotel. Our front desk staff speak English and try to help our guests (Service 4.5/5). The location of our hotel is usually appreciated because it is central (Location 4.5/5). Our very bright breakfast room, situated on the ground floor with wall to wall windows has a... More

I stayed in the Hotel Peyris Opera from July 9 through July 14, 2015. The rooms, to an American, are small, but are standard in Europe. They were well appointed and comfortable. Also, the hotel staff, particularly Nataliia, were helpful whenever we needed something. The only drawback was the Wifi that didn't appear to have enough broadband and wasn't always... More

I gave this hotel an average because after travelling europe for almost three months and staying in many hotels it was relatively average. The location is good. A 15 minute walk to gare nord, close to 3 metro lines and numerous options for restaurants. There is a laundramat 5 minutes walk away. Our room was spacious with a desk, double... More

First impression...another dour, aloof Front Desk Staff...Quite off-putting. However, after that...magnifique! a wild elevator. Micro but tres chic room. Lively, enjoyable neighborhood. Delicious breakfast. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Firstly, the good: the rooms were clean, quiet, spacious and air-conditioned. Reception staff were lovely and the hotel location in Paris is relatively convenient. Price isn't too bad considering I booked quite late and it was for the middle of summer. Breakfast is ok, there could have been warm eggs and toast options. Unfortunately, the bad: no fridge, no power... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
