After spending there 3 nights I can say that the quality to price ration is one of the highest all over Paris. Tasty breakfasts with fresh fruit juice and amazing croisants; the staff was always very helpful, also in critical situations. Downsides: quite a lot of street noise; elevator doesn't go to -1 level where breakfasts are served.

The room was really tiny, but the bed was good an it was a beautiful room. We were on a business trip, and didn't spend much time in our room. The breakfast was good too, plenty of varieties. Staff is friendly and are fluent in English

Great little hotel. Walkable distance from all of the main sites, we only stayed 3 nights and decided walking would be the best option so it was pretty handy in terms of location. Surrounded by cute little shops, bakeries and there was a market on the street by it on the Saturday we left. The hotel room was small but... More

For someone on a budget, in Paris, it would be hard to find any place better to stay than the Hotel Palm. It is in a very convenient location near several subway lines and walking distance from the Garnier opera house and Galeries Lafayette (Dept. stores). The hotel was recently renovated so everything is new, quiet, clean and efficient and... More

The hotel is in a nice quiet area of Paris with easy access to a metro which can take you anywhere in the city. The staff were always very polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good considering it's included in the price. Had a great stay and have nothing negative to say... More

This place is great value for money, well located (We walked from Gard du Nord with luggage) and quite trendy. We got a room with a view (if you look out of the window to the left) of the Eiffel tower. Our room was clean, light and airy but small, however this is Paris and all rooms (certainly that I... Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is spotless. I had a top floor attic room with distant view of the Eiffel Tower. Very comfortable bed, in room safe and small but beautifully appointed bathroom. Free Wi-fi in all rooms, free tea/coffee, soft drinks and snacks in the lobby area and a tasty breakfast included in the price made this a... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
