I had done a lot of research reading reviews of hotels close to Garu de Nord and had booked this one for a couple of nights. Fortunately, me and my wife were not disappointed. I had requested for a room on the highter floor so as to cut of the street noise and also get a side view of the... More

Great location, walking distance from Gare du Nord which is convenient if arriving by train. Close to a number of metro stations (Le Peletier, Notre Dame de Lorette) and walking distance from Sacre Coeur. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Very friendly and efficient staff, they helped me arrange transport back to the airport which worked well.... More

We had a wonderful 3 nite stay at the Hotel Palm Astotel. The hotel is the best budget hotel I have ever stayed at. We arrived later at night and the night clerk was very pleasant. The room is very clean, tastefully modern, recently renovated, and best of all, cleaned and made up daily. The breakfast was perfect with fresh... More

We decided to visit Paris with my teenage son for about one week at the end of March 2015. We were looking for a three star hotel in one of the arrondissements within the city, with reasonable access to transportation. We also were looking for an affordable and clean place to stay after our eight or nine hours of walking... More

I booked this hotel through Expedia UK and chose the location as we were arriving by Eurostar at Gare de Nord. It was idea as it's only a 10 minute walk from the station, yet in a superb location for the Opera area or Monmartre. I travelled with my 15-year-old daughter for a two-night short break and it was a... More

This Hotel was in a great location only 10-15 walk from Gard du Nord. Close to the MontMarte and Sacre Coeur which are exciting, vibrant areas to wine and dine. The room was a little smaller than I had anticipated from the photographs. The bed, I personally found hard and unforgiving. Woke up with rather achy joints. We had some... More

This Hotel is in a fantastic location if arriving via Gare Du Nord, 5-10 minute walk. Also great for walking to Monmatre and Opera areas. Very clean and nicely furnished. Lovely breakfasts and the free soft drink and nibbles bar/lounge is a nice touch. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again ourselves.

We felt like we were at home. The hotel was very cozy. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would especially thank the hotel manager and kitchen staff. Hotel manager was very polite and helpful. She arranged a room with Eiffel view and suggested us many glutenfree restaurants. Kitchen... This is a great little hotel which is centrally located. The rooms are cozy with the charm of Paris. As a newlywed, my wife and I were seeking a romantic start to our honeymoon with a 4 night stay in Paris. We definitely found this here. Some of the rooms facing the street had partial views of the Eiffel Tower.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
