Thanks God I did not go there as my bad experience strted even before that. I called the hotel to make a reservation. I girl named Boline or Pauline gave me a rate after she said she spoke with the manager, for BnB . I said I will speak with my husband and get back to her. The next day... More

This is a low budget hotel without lifts. The small rooms are clean but have crowded en suites. It is convenient for the Bois de Boulogne and the Stadia (Paris St Germain and Stade Francais). The Seine is close and getting around Paris easy. Would recommend going locally for basics, eg breakfast and cafes....... Still expensive for what it is.

I chose the hotel for the low price in a good location, so I did not expect the Palace, but no heating (5 degrees outside) no hot water, nothing to do with the photos, floor with holes make a horrible experience even for one night. I feel ashamed to have put my wife in such place. When claiming to the... More

This used to be a pleasant hotel. It No hot water in the shower. No winow in bathroom. Almost impossible to use the toilet. Half shower door missing. Tap (fawcet) on sink detatchdt.Odour of fungus in the room. Corridors dirty, unfinished. Breakfast insufficient. A last reort hotel. Luckily the internet is functional. At least I can write this while drinking... More

Do not even choose it on what you can see in the small, tiny but somewhat charming lobby. Some of my relatives went there upfront to chaco availability. And a room on the patio (ground floor) was proposed and booked for a very attractive price (89 euros for single occupancy which is really affordable for Paris city at least). I... More

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights disregarding some of the negative reviews. I like to give small independent hotels a second chance. When I arrived the staff was friendly but the hallways have been under renovation for years (if you read the other reviews you will understand), the room was borderline discussing. You have a feeling... More

Staff is excellent, renovated room neat and comfy. Still working on halways, automatic lights come on to help navigate the narrow hallways. Other guests can be noisy slamming doors all hours of the night. The walls are thin. Overall slept ok and thought the hotel was a good value. Stayed there a week and the staff was always very pleasant... More

The Hotel Exelmans is cheap. Our room was on the 3rd floor, beware there is no lift and 59 steep stairs to get to our room(not for oldies or those that are not able to climb mountains). Our room smelt terrible, it was quite small(not a big problem)and dispite the smell the cleaning staff had the room clean and tidy.... More

It is rather good hotel. Although, it is not in the center of Paris, but near the metro station Exelmans (5 minutes) - so you can easily reach any place in Paris. Besides, it is only about 40 minutes by foot to Eiffel Tower! My room was clean, good looking and with hot water). Disadvantages - as to me the... More

I highly suggest you to AVOID this hotel! The hotel is old, dirty, not equipped, there's not an elevator, it's really expensive and the pictures showed on the website are photoshopped! I'll post some real ... It's very expensive (€69 per night) for what it gives. The staff is rude and not helpful. I will NEVER visit this hotel egain... More
