This is a great little affordable hotel in the heart of Paris. The location is fantastic as it is only a 10min walk from Gare du Nord. Our room was very comfortable albeit small, the beds were nice and despite being there at the weekend we didn't get disturbed by too much noise. I would definitely go back.

This is a good 2 stars hotel not far from gare du nord. It's located on Opera neighbourhood. From there you can go walking to many touristic spots or get the metro to reach any part of the city. Rooms are not so small as you can see in some other parisians hotels. Everything was clean though the rooms seems... More

We had a quiet courtyard facing room, which was very much appreciated. We got in at around 8pm so we had to ring for service but our key was left in our room for us. The first night the handle of the window broke, but a gentleman came in right away to fix it. The room looked quite clean and... More

As with most Paris hotels, this one is seriously overpriced. Apparently because it is Paris travellers are willing to pay a hefty price. You do get a fairly sized room and bathroom, but without any frills, although they have free WiFi (but then again, who doesn't in 2014?). The location is good, though. Lively neighbourhood with many places to eat... More

Stayed there for 4 nights while in paris. Amazing, reasonable prices for Paris and for being so central to paris. The tram stop is a close walk and the paris tram system is fabulous (my favourite!). The staff were very helpful and friendly, and either spoke English (or attempted to understand my very very limited French). The room was very... More

It is not the biggest hotel in the world but it does the job. It is in fact small, and cheap. Me and my wife had a good night sleep after a tiring walk around the city. The only thing that disappoint us is the elevator wouldn't work. Our room is on the 3rd floor but we had a small... More

The room we are in is on the small side, but comfortable enough. Most grateful that there is a lift - though tiny, at least we didn't have to drag up our luggage to the 3rd floor! And wifi in our room (number 35) works perfectly! Bed is comfortable. And though its been a cold day, the duvet keeps us... More

The room was small and, as a family of 4, we had to take turns walking through the room. That being said, though, everything about our stay here was perfect. We knew the room would be small (you expect this in Paris if you are not a millionaire) and it's part of city's charme, but we were really surprised by... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
