I have not stayed at the Hotel so my review is based on their terrible customer service letting down a booking made over 6 months in advance. It was a major Birthday for my husband and we were going to Paris for 2 concerts in the nearby Stadium. We took ages choosing the right hotel and booked through a reputable... More

Not the first time that I stayed at Hotel Claret. It is ideally located near Metro lines 14 (to Opera and Galeries Lafayette) and 06 (to Eiffel tower and Champs Elysees); also 2 bus lines at the door of the hotel literally. Breakfast is great. Rooms are tiny but show me a large room in Paris for 100 Euros per... More

Nice hotel, friendly staf and clean room. If you go to a concert in POBercy this hotel is perfect. If you want to see other things like Louvre, Notre Dame etc. than you have tot travel with metro. The price, 166,- euros is in my opinion to much.

The Hotel Claret was fine - it's older, but rooms have been refurbished and modernized...but it is right by the Gare de Lyon. Perfect if you need to take a train the next day, but relatively far from the best sights of Paris - you'd have to take the subway to get to the sights (if this isn't an issue,... More

Our destination in Paris was to visit Disneyland together with our 4 years boy, so we choose Hotel Claret because there are good train connections to Valle de Marne. Overall, it was not a bad choise, because it's clean, it's near the subway (near meaning 10 metres!) and the personnel was very kind. But the double room is too small... More

I went to this hotel with two other people. we shared a double room which has two single beds in it, and the other person had a camp bed which was reasonably comfortable. Our room was smaller than expected and we had to do some re-arranging but there was no real problem until it was time to sleep. My bed... More

My hotel room was clean, comfortable and with a lovely bathroom. The room was a reasonable size, I could walk all round the double bed with no difficulty. It had a large double glazed french door style of opening window with a Juliet balcony. There were minor maintainence problems like flaking paint on the balcony rail, but nothing of consequence.... Arrived at hotel mid day ish and had just a 20 minute wait for the room. Our room was situated at the rear of the hotel and consequently was lovely and quiet. The room was quite compact, but big enough with a lovely comfortable bed and good shower room. Only downside to the room was the one plug socket outlet,... More

Other reviews may extol the virtue of beautiful rooms and air conditioning. That only applies to the top floor where rooms are a little more expensive. Overall, the Hotel Claret was a good value. Positives include the included breakfast, free Wi-Fi, reasonable rate, friendly staff and closeness to the Metro. Detractions included small rooms and closet (no surprise for Europe),... More

Maybe I was given a bad room, but I was quite disappointed with this hotel. My room was small, very scruffy and had lots of dirt marks on the wall. The TV was way too high, and the bathroom was really weird - it was more a room for invalids since the shower had no curtains. Food/breakfast was also not... More
