We stayed here for a long weekend because of its location close to Gare de L’Est and also the Marais area and the Picasso museum. Although on a busy street our room was quiet but perhaps because t looked on to a courtyard. While well equipped it was small and we had to squeeze one case into the wardrobe. Bed... More

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Breguet-Sabin metro. It is on the same line from the Gare du Nord - so very convenient. It is also a short walk from the Place to Vosges, the National Museum of Paris, the Picasso museum. The Sunday Bastille Market is a few minutes away. The staff are amazing. Everyone was... More

My partner and I stayed here for New Years and were extremely happy with the location and service we received. A great base to explore the sites of Paris and is only a few minute walk from the metro. Lots of bakeries and restaraunts in the area as well!

The hotel is close to two metro stations, located at the edge of the nice "4th arondissement Les Marais", near Place des Vosges. The rooms are not very big, but nicely, modernly decorated with good beds and a watercooker. The internet works reasonably, although you ofen have to re-enter the accesscode. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good, They... More

Small hotel, which means relax and quietness. Excellent location and price, really cosy, clean, with friendly staff, in a quiet street but really close to live streets and underground. Good value for money.

Went here for business trip. The rooms are small but nice. We had a room without a view, but it didn't matter as we mostly came home late only for sleep. We choose to take our breakfast outside of the hotel as their offer was not interesting. You can find a lot of nice coffee shops in the neighborhood. The... More

Well located, very good small hotel close to public transit and the Marais area. Front desk extremely helpful and rooms clean. Only issue encountered was hot water takes a long time to come (several minutes in the morning). Recommend highly as is wonderful value for money for Paris.

This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a winner. Located 5 minute walk from Bastille where you can get the metro to pretty much anywhere in paris. The rooms are nicely decorated and bigger than expected. I have stayed in more expensive rooms that where half the size. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel proved an excellent choice for a short break. Well situated, just yards from a Metro station and only a few minutes walk from Bastille, it was beautifully clean throughout, the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfasts were very good, with a choice of cereals, breads, pastries and fruit; scrambled and boiled eggs were offered, together with a selection... More

Best Western sits in Marais / Bastille, about 40 minutes walk from La Seine, very close to 2 big metro stations, very close to big arches, 40 minutes walk from le Rambuteau and another walk from the canal. So quite centrally located. That area itself can get a bit scary in the night but it gets better as we get... More

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighborhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighborhood.
