Rooms were big, nice and tidy, only bathroom was bit outdated (still, it was clean). Location is nice, if you don't mind about taking metro where ever you go. Only minus was internet; we were prepared to pay for it, but it was free with 1 hour tickets we got from reception. It didn't work properly and it was very... More

A hotel which is not as good as it claims; room was next to scaffolding (subsequently moved), aircon didn't work and when I complained many arguments until they came to the room and saw it did not work; rude staff, sheets/towels for the floor left on the landing overnight so guests had to climb over them to get out...nothing good... Stayed two nights Friday to Sunday. Room not particularly clean on arrival but leaving a few Euros fixed that the day after. Very noisy even during the night, but most of the noise was from the city/street itself. The reception was polite and spoke English. The location of the hotel was super. Two metro stations very close by. Gare du... More

Was booked to stay two nights but decided to move when we saw the condition of the hotel which was in need of repair and everything was very worn and not particularly clean. We stayed one night and couldn't sleep because of the noise from the next room. Picked up the phone to reach the front desk and it didn't... More

We stayed for a week in this hotel in June 2010. Acoustic insulation is poor, we heard every door close ,every step of our neigbours and every conversation. That was really annoying and irrittating. Breakfast was poor. Elevator is really very small. Housekeeping was not bad though. No wi-fi available, some connection problems all week. The only good thing about... More

We stayed four nights here while in Paris. It was advertised as a three star; however, there seemed to be other hotels we came across that appeared better with less stars. It is in a decent area, the 9th arrondisement, and close to the "Passages" or shopping areas, the metro, and wonderful restaurants. The room was very sad. It's the... More

First of all, if you arrive at Gare du Nord, don't bother taking a taxi. It's a short walk and you won't be stuck in a cab with a furious taxidriver... Welcome to France ! We stayed for two nights in this hotel and were lucky that we had a room with four beds whilst we were only two. The... More

Whilst its true that this hotel is a little rough round the edges - the carpets could do with being washed/replaced, as could some of the curtains, and some of the electrics look a bit dodgy - overall this was an ok place to stay. The rooms are a little small, but I think that's normal for Paris. However, they... More

Considering that this was one of the more expensive 3* hotels of the choice I had I wish I knew where my money went because it certainly wasn't back into the hotel. We arrived early and were informed that the rooms were not ready however we could leave our luggage and were then dismissed. When we returned we squeezed ourselves... More

Not enough lighting. Please do not spend your holidays in this hotel. Can't believe that people prefer to stay in this really old hotel with expensive... More
