My girlfriend and I spent few days at the Corail Hotel Paris in October 2008. We were given a small double room with bathroom. The bedroom had a double bed, small wardrobe, LCD TV set with local and satellite channels, table and chairs. The bathroom had a large shower and was very clean. We walked into this hotel and asked to stay for 2 nights. She only had availability for 1 night. I had already been to about a dozen other places, and they weren't very friendly at all. I was a bit worried about this hotel after reading some reviews, but was pleseantly suprised. The room was big and clean, with a window overlooking the street. Its in a great location- close to a main train station and a short walk from bastille. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets around. Overall, a great budget hotel! more

Atel Corail is a budget hotel with small, clean, no-frills rooms. very easy access to the metro. I found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place for you, but if you're on a budget and don't plan on spending much time in your hotel, the Corail is a nice... more

We stayed at the Corail at the end of our honeymoon for a couple of days in Paris before heading home. Pleasantly surprised at the location (within 5 minutes walking distance of Gare du Lyon), and found the majority of the staff were really nice - the lady on reception was really helpful and friendly, and the kitchen/breakfast room staff... more

terrible... thats the only review i can write... very very bad decor... very small rooms...impolite staff.. you dont need that on your holiday.... such a mood spoiler... We had two rooms booked...and when checking in we asked if we can have them near-by...the receptionist answered... "all rooms are full... i cant throw people out and make room for you...." The rooms were tiny, and below the standards of a 3* Hotel. There was no Fridge in the room, storage room was insufficient. The carpet was old and filthy. Lift not even enough for 4 people ! Very unpleasant stay ! more

I would only recommend this hotel if you were staying for one night and/or needed to be near the Gare Lyon. The hotel was quite threadbare. Furnishings, floor and carpeting could use an upgrade. 3 star hotel but it really likes as a hostel! very little rooms with awful decor and a very old bathroom. The only good thing is that is very well located but I recomend to pay a little more and stay in a hotel chain like accor, holiday inn, melia, etc.. more
