What was good: - simple breakfasts - view from the window - nice staff - not far from Metro - elevator (starting from the second floor only) What was bad: -no free wi-fi -no hot water late at night -no TV changer in the room (but there was a TV) -no fresh air in the coridor -sounds at the street... That was my 4th visit to Paris. And I didn't expect any special things from two-stars hotel. But this hotel was the worst. The price is good, rooms are clear, close to metro. But: 1. Too noisy - the are two very popular bars on the ground floor, right under the rooms' windows. Bars work till 2-3 a.m., loud music... More

Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE - Hotel Royal Mansart (Paris ). In this “shelter” we spent 3 nights on September /2014 and now work with booking agency on full refund. Why ? on 1st floor - Restaurant open until 3 am, across the street - Club- where people have fun until 6 am. We COULD NOT close windows because... More

lived in this hotel from 29 April to 05 may 2014 This hotel is the economy option for not capricious tourists who come to enjoy Paris and not stay in the room. To sleep, relax after a long day exploring or sightseeing place is quite suitable. Тhe rooms are Spartan (very small shower), Breakfast is very poor. The staff is... More

Went there this summer with my family, booked 3 rooms. All of them are clean. The bathroom, although really small, is clean and surprisingly has hair dryer. The breakfast area is small, but always enough to sit everyone during breakfast time. For breakfast is a basket of French bread with butter and jam. Quite simple, but good enough. Wifi is... More

This hotel Royal Opera Mansart is located one block away from Moulin Rouge! About 15 minutes walking from Montmarte district (which is not as bad as everyone thinks). About 5 minutes away from Blanche Metro Station which could take you into any location in the city. And about 15 minutes walking to Lafayette and Opera Center. So the location is... More

The price of your stay in this hotel might sound affordable but that's the only good thing about it. Otherwise, the rooms are old, the location is not attractive at all and not really close to the Opera. I don't know why they named it Opera which is kind of 15 minutes far by walking. In fact, this is Place... More

For a hotel in the centre of Paris it is very reasonably priced. This is an older hotel there is no elevator and all rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor (or 1st and 2nd depending from where i the world you are). Nice helpful reception. My room was clean, extra blankets etc were in the cubbord (not that... More

When we arrived they told us there was no hot water and send us to the hotal Blanche down the road. We refused to stay in the Blanche when we saw the condition of this room (there was a mouse trap under the bed). We returned to the Royal Hotel Mansart and told the receptionist that we would like to... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
