My family recently stayed at Henri 4 for 5 nights in early December. Yes, the hotel is small, being a boutique type of hotel but it more than met our needs with a reasonably sized suite for our family. The staff were very helpful for us newbies to Paris and provided a lot of help and suggestions. Location is spot-on... More

Great location and a lovely small boutique hotel. There are so many special sites you can walk to from this hotel. Our room was on first floor and very comfortable. The restaurants in the area are outstanding and very close to the hotel. Breakfast was great and service is excellent.Loved the hotel.

This little hotel is a perfect spot for a few nights in Paris. Great location (just down from the Pantheon and an easy walk to Ile de la Citie), loads of shops and restaurants around, and the rooms -- even my small size was very nice with a tiny balcony for sitting out to enjoy the day. Large bathroom (by... More

Charming, friendly boutique hotel in the beautiful latin quarter of Paris, very close to Notre Dame and the Sorbonne, fabulous choice of local restaurants and cafes. Hotel staff very helpful and will recommend good local restaurants. Our room was small, but delightful on the top floor, with stunning views from the balconies, reached using the smallest lift we've used, just... More

Really warm place to feel Paris. Location is very good. The rooms are worth of price you pay. The service really good. I was surprised to see how kind was the receptionist he was so involved in his job that he was learning different languages to make guests as home. We had few talks and joke and really beeing received... More

Everyone knows Paris is infamous for small, shabby hotel rooms. And depending on your length of stay, these awful, noisy little coffins can cost a small fortune. International chain hotels feel like you're cheating though. It's Paris after all. And the nicer chain hotels are often ridiculously expensive. I'll pay a princely sum for a great resort on a beach.... More

We stayed in this hotel back in march it's lovely hotel situated in a quiet cul de sac no noise at all from the street. We had a bedroom. And a living area which doubled up as a bedroom. It was very spacious. Breakfast was nice it was included in our room rate. The staff on the reception were very... More

Yes, it was a small hotel with small rooms, but everything is like that in Paris. The room was clean and very cozy. Very friendly and carrying staff. Great location! I would definitely recommend staying there.

What a great little hotel. In a convenient location in the 6th Arrondissement, about a ten minute walk from Notre Dame, tucked away, effectively in a cul-de-sac at the bottom of the Rue des Bernardins, les a quintessential French townhouse that has been turned into a hotel. It is very tall and thin, served by a spiral staircase or a... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
