Stayed here for a few nights in May 2014 prior to a barge trip in Burgundy. Great location, good rates, accommodating staff. An airconditioning issue caused a room change which was inconvenient but resolved to our satisfaction. Good breakfast, great concierge. Would stay here again.

My Husband and I came here for our first stop on our Honeymoon. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and kept up. The only remark I have is that the room was never actually really straightened up. New towels were put in, curtains shut, and bed was made so that was nice. The courtesy of the staff... More

We have just returned from a three night visit to Paris. This is a lovely hotel in a great location. From entering into reception all the staff we met were courteous and friendly. Our room was situated on the third floor and had a view of the neighbouring streets below. The room itself was immaculately clean and it was a... More

we had three magical nights at this hotel. Our room was on the top floor and was described as deluxe with a view . And it certainly had a view. You could taken half of Paris from our window and that for me was part of the magic. To be able to look at the lights above the Eiffel Tower... More

fabulous staff made us feel so welcome. Fabulous service. Great location - close to many of the major sites & attractions. First class hotel. Only use the restaurant next door if you have won the lottery!

This hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood, surrounded by cafes and very close to La Musee D'Orsay. There is a tram stop close by, as well as a market right across the street with fresh produce, cheeses, wines, and some meats. This market was great, as the restaurant and bar at the hotel were very expensive, but nice. I... More

This was our first trip to Paris. Found this hotel to be very well located. The staff was very friendly and gracious. We reserved a junior suite and had plenty of space. Rooms were nice and quiet. The downstairs bar was perfect for before and after dinner drinks. Would stay here again!

I've stayed here before and liked it enough to come back. Our room was on the street side with great views of the buildings along the street. We had problems reaching our airline and the front desk was more than helpful. They also helped us order tickets and print them. The small bar is cozy and warm and a great... More

We stayed in Hotel Pont Royal in January. Location was within walking distance of many of the famous buildings for sight seeing. Ten minutes walk to the Seine. The hotel was beautiful. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
