A romantic and great hotel! It was our first time together in Paris and it was unforgettable. Our room was on the 7th floor with a nice view. All of the staff were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon is fantastic. Definitely stay again on our next trip to Paris!

My husband and Instayed in one of top floor rooms with a private balcony. The view over the rooftops was wonderful. And we can even see the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the evening! We were here during the Christmas holidays. So even with a chilly wind and drizzle, we still loved being able to step out on the balcony. On... More

A wonderfully quaint hotel in a great location! Very comfortable beds. My only complaint was the tiny splash guard on the shower. Lack of a curtain made it quite chic but always lots of water on the floor. The included breakfasts were so wonderfully French & a satisfying start to full days of sightseeing. There's a Monoprix right across the... More

We visited Paris for the first time and we were so pleased we chose this hotel. The location can't be beat, we walked to the Louvre, and the Orsay within 10 minutes. There is a grocery store right across from the hotel as well, lots of stuff for a picnic and decently priced. We paid for the hotel breakfast a... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Very clean, good location. Reasonably central but quiet on a night. Staff were just the right side of attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I would hesitate to say it's a full five star hotel but I suppose having a Michelin star restaurant onsite does help that. Bar prices are high but a supermarket opposite which... More

Stayed here 8/4/15-8/8/15 in room 604 a deluxe room with a view, fantastic views, very clean and quiet, room was big enough to include us and 4 large luggage without tripping over it. Staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was included because we booked through hotel website. It was very good and a great start to our day.... More

A fantastic hotel with lovely staff in an excellent position to all the main Paris sights. The room was great and spotless with a nice view off the small balcony. I wouldn't have any problem in recommending this hotel and will hopefully return myself one day!

We found our room to be clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for the metro and accessing the must see attractions.

Very good hotel. Nice rooms. Very warm welcome and quick to find solution when needed. Location is very good. Good view from the windows and the best places to visit are very close. It is recommended to choose this hotel when in Paris.

A stones throw from the Louvre on the South bank means you could walk to all the main attractions (we needed/used transport for Sacre Coeur and Versailles only). Hotel is pleasant inside and room clean and smart. Concierge service is excellent (booked all our restaurants). Negatives: Breakfast is a bit weak - not much choice. And avoid the adjoining Michelin-star... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
