This was our first trip to Paris. Found this hotel to be very well located. The staff was very friendly and gracious. We reserved a junior suite and had plenty of space. Rooms were nice and quiet. The downstairs bar was perfect for before and after dinner drinks. Would stay here again!

I've stayed here before and liked it enough to come back. Our room was on the street side with great views of the buildings along the street. We had problems reaching our airline and the front desk was more than helpful. They also helped us order tickets and print them. The small bar is cozy and warm and a great... More

We stayed in Hotel Pont Royal in January. Location was within walking distance of many of the famous buildings for sight seeing. Ten minutes walk to the Seine. The hotel was beautiful. We stayed on the first floor overlooking the front. It was very quiet. Staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. They made recommendations for local restaurants and bistros... More

Well, there is not much to say in addition to the review title. Grand location, outstanding restaurant, excellent breakfast, well trained and friendly staff, clean and hardware in excellent shape. Overall very well managed !

I have stayed twice at Hotel Pont Royal, and will come back again! The location just can't be beat! We walked to Le Bon Marche and all the left bank shopping, the Louvre, Le Palais Royal, Notre Dame, Les Halles, Le Marais, Le Haut Marais and up and down the Siene! The rooms are a little small, but great for... More

We stayed here for a week over New Years Eve week. We were on the 7th floor with a fabulous view of the City of Lights. Well appointed room, good size bathroom and location couldn't be beat. Ask for a room on the 7th or 8th floor for a view.

We stayed at the Hotel Pont a Royal for 2 nights in December 2014 and were terrible disappointed. The service was below average with the front desk staff exhibiting an arrogant attitude. They were typically unhelpful and we're not willing or able to get us a taxi upon our checkout. We were forced to walk 2 blocks to a taxi... More

Just spent the weekend in Paris after what can only be described as a dark time in their history due to recent terrorist atrocities. That said, a very accommodating hotel and staff greeted my family and me. Firstly the hotel is immaculate, tidy inside and out and very well located for discovering Paris and all its delights. Rooms are reasonably... More

My Husband & I went to Paris, Christmas week, Dec, 2014 to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We researched and planned 10 months prior and found Hotel Pont Royal. The staff had champagne and rose petals waiting in our room upon arrival which was so sweet & welcoming! They were all very kind, professional, caring and catering to our wants and... More

we are a young couple that wanted a long weekend in Paris to take in the sites etc. We spent ages looking for a hotel and finally settled on Hôtel Pont Royal. It's difficult trying to pick the right area etc when you're not familiar with a city, but the location could not have been better. The hotel is central... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
