Beautiful hotel. As good, or better, than the pictures. The reception with fireplace is very cozy...and we had tea there late at night by ourselves...felt as though it was a rented house. Very classy, chic, decor throughout. Very comfortable, clean, rooms and bathrooms. Excellent location...great, helpful, staff. Incredibly, the receptionist was even able to unlock our suitcase because we lost... More

From my first contact with reservations, through the check-out, the management of the Odéon Saint-Germain was friendly, courteous, helpful in all matters, and extremely efficient. The room – and the whole hotel -was tastefully decorated and well-appointed. An atmosphere of old Paris with all the modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The location could not be better. On... More

This hotel is located on a great street - right in the heart of Saint-Germain. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They booked (and unbooked) numerous restaurant reservations for us and gave great directions and tips for getting around. I would most definitely stay here again. You can't beat the price for the room quality and location.

Have just returned from four day trip to Paris staying at Hotel Odeon. Its a really fantastic hotel - our room was large by Parisian standards, beautifully furnished and well-equipped. The reception staff are marvellous - genuinely friendly and totally attentive. The interiors are chic and stylish, yet cosy and romantic. This hotel is a real gem - we will... More

This small Hotel surpassed our exceptions! The staff (esp. Matthew & Jean) were superb in ervery way; helpful in english for reservations, directions and recommendations. The hotel decor was very chic with expensive fabrics/linens both in the rooms and in lobby and breakfast area. Rooms were very clean, romantic, and quite from the active little street. The real surprise was... More

Walking into this hotel on a cold, rainy day in October after a long trip from New York, I felt immediately welcomed by the staff. They were very helpful during the entire stay of five days (was there for business). The beds were so comfortable and room was clean. The bathroom was quite small as was the closet, but living... Staff was extremely responsive especially given our very limited French language skills.

Excellent location/hotel to stay while visiting Paris. Staff was very courteous and helpful day and night. Rooms were very well decorated with flat screen and full, updated bathroom. Amenities were excellent and they met or exceeded our expectations. A great, central location for great meals, sightseeing, banking, etc. -- very close to metro and other stores. You would do well... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
