This hotel experience couldn't have been better. The staff couldn't have done more for us. Recommendations, help, or just nice conversation. Couldn't recommend this more. They also found out it was our honeymoon and left us a bottle of champagne. The location is great too.

The staff at the Hotel Odeon is what makes this hotel so special. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and cared for. The rooms are quite nice, but like many in Paris, small. The location is terrific. I have stayed in over 20 hotels in Paris andmy partner and I plan to return to Odeon.

Whenever I am in Paris, I always stay in St. Germain des Pres but this was the first time that I have stayed here. It is in a great location, close to the Odeon metro stop and near lots of great shops and restaurants. The lobby has a lovely sitting area with a fireplace and lots of books. I arrived... More

I am Parisian and I have invited my niece from the south to discover Paris. I picked-up this hotel because I have visited it before, charmed by the undeniable "cachet" designed by Jacques Garcia, and so warmfully received. During our stay, not only did we find a beautiful place, cozy and making us feel at home, but everything was done... More

This is an amazingly beautiful and romantic hotel in the middle of Paris's latin quarter. The hotel is beautiful and the staff we re very attentive and polite. Very classically French in one of the best locations in Paris

This is a great Hotel in the Latin Quarter. Normally rooms in Paris are small but this room was very spacious. We had a third floor room looking out onto a quiet street. There is an elevator to all floors. The staff are friendly, speak good English, and the Hotel is very well placed to get to all the attractions... More

I read the reviews of the hotel, in which guests had consistently awarded four or more stars, and I thought this would be terrific. It tuned out to be average at best, with a very small bathroom with an inadequate shower. The guest computer was slow, and I suppose I should have expected the keyboard not to be QWERTY. The... Dear Sir, I am really surprised by your comment on Tripadvisor but respect it. You stayed in 2 connecting luxury rooms for your family of 3 persons during 8 days. Sébastien, the front office manager, remembers you perfectly and is also very surprised as he was in contact with your family every day. Very professional, as all the team I... More

Clean quiet room. Little small but I guess that's no different than much hotels in Paris. Service is good. Breakfast is average. Good location. Will probably return in the future. Recommended for any activities near Latin Quater.

We loved staying at the Hotel Odeon Saint Germain while we were in Paris last week. The rooms are a little dark and small but the charm of the hotel and the friendly service make up for that. The location is AMAZING!! The neighborhood shops, restaurants and bars are all so nice and you can walk to so many major... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
