My Hubby and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon! Upon check in our room wasn't ready but that didn't really bother us. We finally made it to our room and it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. But I guess your not in Paris to stay in your room are you? One day we... More

Dear Lauren C, Thank you for your good comment about our perfect location, our lovely helpfull staff and the great restaurants we have around the hotel. Regarding your room, you are right to say that the classic standard room can be too small for a honeymoon 3 nights' stay. We usually suggest an executive or luxury room. Unfortunatelly the other... The hotel is very pleasant and tastefully decorated. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. I don't think I've ever come across nicer staff. Our room was at the back and very quiet. It was not large but large enough. The bathroom was very nice. We stayed for three nights and loved it.

We had a terrific stay at the charming Odeon Hotel. Great location, very nice neighborhood, comfortable/nice (but small and no surprise) room. Awesome little shower with great water pressure. A very gracious staff that made us feel welcome from check in to checkout. Loved the honor bar in the public space that allowed us to grab a bottle of wine... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain for 6 nights. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. They even had a cell phone charger for us to borrow! All of the staff spoke english, which was comforting and convenient. The hotel is located in a nice area of Paris and is a 15 minute walk from The... More

We absolutely loved the Hotel Odeon! Our experience started once we booked our date, I asked for a lower level room with the largest bed they had and no feather pillows - the team responded right away with confirmation to all. Then we asked about tours - they provided a website and booked that for us once we made our... More

Were we to return to Paris, Odeon Saint Germain would be our hotel of choice. First, the hotel location has all what Paris has to offer: history, culture and good food. The neighborhood is safe, animated at night & close to shopping strips, touristic landmarks, metro stations, cafes and restaurants. You could find everything just around the block. Then the... More

For me this location and hotel was a 5 star. The staff was great, the room was very clean and unique; location was within walking distance to the metro. The staff was kind enough to point me to some really great local restaurants as well, so be sure to ask for assistance when in doubt.

clean, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, and walking distance of everything. We spent 5 days of our honeymoon here and it was great. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. A real treat.

If you want a real taste of Paris, stay in this small boutique hotel in the 6th arrondissement. While the hotel is on a quiet side street, the neighborhood is full of restaurants, cafes, and specialty shops. The staff was excellent and very helpful and accommodating. Our room was on the top floor (the only one there) and was accessible... More

We enjoyed a clean, comfortable, pretty room at this well situated hotel on Rue St. Sulpice. Front desk staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, as was the young woman who served breakfast. We will certainly return.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
