We've never before had such wonderful, caring service from a hotel staff. Specifically, Brice, the hotel's manager was truly outstanding. We had the unfortunate experience of visiting the emergency room on day 3 of our trip. The staff called us a taxi and told the driver which hospital to go to. Then they called the emergency room and told them... More

From the moment we checked into the Hotel our stay felt like an extension of a friends home. The entire staff were very helpful when planning our day trips, to suggesting new restaurants in the neighborhood! Our stay at Hotel Odeon St.-Germain was truly special and look forward to staying here on our next trip to Paris!!

Just back from a family celebration in Paris where we spent a great weekend at this small, cosy hotel. The staff are fantastic and nothing was too much trouble even though we were a large group. Tickets for some key attractions are available from reception, which saved us a lot of time queuing at the Musee d'Orsay. And breakfast is... More

5 days in April. Have stayed in St Germain area several times before. This was best choice so far. Great ambience, very helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Convenient for Metro & Bus. Surrounded by lots of interesting small independent shops, bars and restaurants. Great walking area. Would definitely stay again if under same management.

We stayed at the Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain in mid-April and had an incredible experience. The staff was warm and helpful. The folks at the front desk pointed us in the right direction when looking for restaurants or stores, and were always willing to help us book reservations. At night, the concierge would always ask us about our day and had... More

Great place, great team, very cosy feeling. The hotel is not big but the interior design is smart and top quality. The only negative point is the lack of a parking place near the Hotel, you have to park in the street to unload your bags. We will choose the hotel again if we go back to Paris.

Hotel Odeon is an amazing boutique hotel in one of the best Parisian arrondissements. We stayed for approximately a week and then booked the hotel again two weeks later when we returned to Paris because we liked it so much. The staff is amazing and helpful with expert information about the city and couldn't be more kind. A wonderful, comfortable,... More

I chose this hotel after searching many others on Trip Advisor and was so glad I did! This is a perfect spot for a single traveler (like myself) or for couples, business travelers, etc. The hotel is in a great spot in the city - the left bank is the best for a true Parisien experience - and is near the... My wife and I stayed here for three nights in late March, 2015. The location is superb, a short walk to many Latin Quarter cafes, to excellent restaurants, and to a metro stop that was on a direct line (4) to Gare du Nord (good for the Eurostar!). The place is lovely, the service is excellent (as was their English!),... More

Spent 4 nights there with family on the recommendation of my sister. Very very enjoyable, cozy, clean and great location. Rooms are indeed small but this should be expected. And it was QUIET! Staff was especially helpful and accommodating. Absolutely recommended.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
