I was a little nervous about reserving this hotel after reading a few of the reviews posted here, but I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. The best feature is its location. It's within a quarter mile of Notre Dame, the entrance to the subway and the bus is just outside the front door, and there are hundreds of shops... More

Dear Mark J. P, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments. We are very happy that you enjoyed your experience. Our hotel is, indeed, in a wonderful location in the heart of Paris. Our hotel has been created in a Haussmanian classified building, so it is unfortunately impossible to change the size of the elevator.... More

Great location – I V , V, V I quarters. Close to restaurants, metro, RER (to CDG – use elevator to street level), lots of 'must see' locations in Paris. Sizeable rooms for that central location. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.

Dear Noam, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are very happy that you enjoyed your experience. Our location is, indeed, a wonderful location in the center of the Latin quarter: the banks of the Seine, Notre Dame, the Ile de la Cité and its flower market, the area of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, well known for... I understand it is in a VERY conveninet location in Paris very near Saint Michelle Metro station to go to Versaille or any but the spaciousness of the hotel, room, breakfast is the under Premier Hotel at Best Western standard. The two persons only elevator is the fun but not practical as you can imagine.

Good hotel for sight seeing, close to fast direct RER trains from the airport, and the Metro. Short walk to the Notre Dame, and plenty of good restaurants just behind the hotel. Comfortable, quiet room and great bed, with WiFi in room.

This hotel has the best location, close to the Notre Dame. The beds are really good, but the rooms are small. Breakfast is served in what looks like a hotelroom, where 16 guests can be seated. It is really cramped. Guests had to wait in the staiway to get in. TV: if you want english languaged chanels there are: CNN,... More

This hotel was a great location, close to restaurants, metro, RER and lots of 'must see' locations in Paris. The beds were the BEST EVER in a hotel and despite the busy location, the rooms were incredibly quiet. Staff were helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We went to this hotel with friends who had been before and could vouch for it. It was expensive however and I doubt that I would return again at the price we paid. But in Paris it's all about location so in that respect it was absolutely perfect. Check in was smooth and the hotel is very clean. We were... More

This hotel is situated in the middle of everything, small restaurants, shops, metro and Notre Dame and Seine round the corner. However it is quiet and peaceful inside. Clean and comfortable but tiny lift in the Parisian way and small restaurant where breakfast was served. Breakfast was quite nice also as well as friendly staff.

Though one can't call this hotel a bad one it is definitely not #1 option if you are looking for 3-4 stars value for miney in Paris. The only unbeatable advantage is location. Really great. But the hotel itself could have been a way better for price they take. Rooms are too small, beds are not too good, brekfast room... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
