We were a group of six and I would say all were pleased with their rooms. I had a room on the front and, although it was warm enough to keep the windows open, I never found the traffic of the rue Rivoli a problem. We actually used our little balcony and enjoyed the evening air. I have stayed in... More

Hotel Paris Rivoli is located in the Marais district, in Rue Rivoli! One of the best location uou can find in the city. The size of the rooms are really good for the city standart. They are confortable and clean. In the neighborghood the are many places you can have breakfast and a decent meal.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Paris. We couldn't have asked for a better location, a 5-10 minute walk to the subways nearby and 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. The neighborhood was safe and close to tons of bars and restaurants. There is an elevator, but it's tiny and barely fits 2 people. The rooms... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Paris Rivoli for about four nights early in March. We normally bounce from one hotel to another during our trips, as a way to experience a city from different angles. The Rivoli was just the second hotel on our list of places to stay during our stay in Paris. When we got... More

Our stay was short here, only one night. Strong points: location, staff kindness, especially the ladies at breakfast and at front desk. Smiles everywhere. Room 305 was extremely quiet as not on the street. The bathroom was fine. Access to the closet in this particular room is a bit difficult as right next to the bed...The wifi was adequate but... Wow--walk out the front door, turn left and Hotel DeVille is two blocks, turn left there and Notre Dame is 2 minute walk OR stay straight and its 12 minute walk to Louve. We arrived at 9:00 AM for a 3:00 PM check-in to drop off luggage. We were told they did have one room open if we wanted to... More

Excellent small hotel on Rue de Rivoli in the Marais. There is a hotel down the street with a similar name so do be sure to book the Hotel PARIS Rivoli at 19 rue de Rivoli. I was solo but booked a double room with a very small balcony with a table and chair....very nice. Clean room and spacious for... More

Staff was great and breakfast is quite decent. Rooms are nicely furnished and super clean thats why Im saying VG for this review. Location is amazingly central and convenient. Not perfect but more than decent, if you are looking for a simple place in the very centre and 150eur per night isnt something you find expensive, then this is clearly... More

With its prime location on Rivoli, and reasonable prices it's has a very high Value for money. Rooms are small but the bathroom is big . Clean. Breakfast is petit . Great for tourists, close to gay vanues . Will definitely come back.

We stayed for five nights in early October '14. The location in the Marais is excellent. A short walk to St. Paul metro & Hotel de Ville & an easy walk to Pompidou centre & Latin quarter. There is a jazz cave on the opposite side of the street approx. 200 metres toward Hotel de Ville. Turn right out of... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
