Conveniently (!!) located in the Marais, near the Hotel de Ville metro stop (or Saint Paul), it's a short walk to the river and several other destinations...food, shopping, history are all at hand. The staff has always been friendly and THEN businesslike. Mr. Hussain always remembers me and seeing him behind the desk is like visiting a friend. He has... More

This place is located in an excellent position for those who enjoy strolling around the beautiful city that is Paris. A short walk down to the Seine and Île de St Louis. Le marais itself is a lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy

The room is small, but that is not a surprise, the bathroom, however, is bigger than I expected. I really like the location, walking distance to romantic Seine River and Notre Dame, and I even walked to Latin Quarter from the hotel. Metro station is very close as well. Marius worked at the front desk was very nice and helpful... More

We visited here for three nights for our honeymoon. It is a nice hotel in a good neighborhood. The location is great to walk to Notre Dame and between 3 stations : Pont Marie, saint Paul and hotel de ville. So many great restaurants nearby- try L'as du fallafel. We paid for the breakfast but never got to enjoy it... More

Good value hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location - in the lower Marais - for exploring central Paris. I was booked in there on a business trip earlier this year and was so impressed I went back on holiday there. We stayed six nights and would definitely stay again next time we are in Paris. Three mins... More

We were 5 couples staying in this very well located hotel. Rooms although small are all you really need. Hotel staff was very friendly. Plenty of restaurants in the area, #69 bus right in front takes you to the Eiffel Tower. We were able to walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral and to the Louvre. We would definitely stay here... More

Ive been to Paris quite a few times but as it was my husband's first visit I wanted our base to be central so that we could get the most out of our trip. I booked a balcony room and whilst we didn't spend too much time at the hotel I'm glad I opted for the upgrade. The room size... More

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. We were glad to find it totally renovated. Breakfast was not as complete as one would expect, but served its purpose. Our room was 202 and it was very clean, bathroom was nice. Furniture was brand new. We had a problem with the fridge and it was replaced during that... More

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for two nights last week. All but one staff member was very nice. Our check-in went smoothly, the room was clean and sufficient for what we were looking for in an affordable Paris hotel, and the location was good for the activities we were doing. I would say that if you are... More

We have stayed here at several occasions. Very well located in a street with typical parisian atmosphere, close to all interesting sights. You can walk in any direction, and there is Paris! The rooms are small, but the staff is very nice. We are coming back!

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
