Our original plan was an overnight stay in Paris due to flight connections. However, that changed when I came down with a bronchial infection. The staff was wonderful and can't thank them enough for their assistance; Houcine call the doctor and extended our stay; Carolina helped my husband to change our flights. Hotel is within walking distance to sights and... More

We staid at Hotel Paris Rivoli from 2 January 2015 to 13 January 2015. We loved our experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Paris. The hotel is clean, renovated and situated iclose to most places of interest, it is surrounded by restaurants and super markets and very close to metro stations. The... More

We stayed during the December holidays. We are in love with the Marais neighborhood. So many small shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Great atmosphere. Really close to Hotel de Ville and BHV, Notre-Dame de Paris at the islands, Bastilia, etc. The room was small, the bathroom was almost the same size as the room. We took the rear side room... More

Great value for money. Brilliant location - minutes away from Notre Dame, variety of bars, restaurants and shops around. Rooms are functionable and clean. No iron or minibar, but it's absolutely acceptable given the low room rate. Towels changed daily, free WiFi, breakfast available. Staff was nice as well. Overall very recommended for travellers looking for a comfy room in... More

Recently stayed here for a Christmas market trip. Great location 1 block from the St. Paul metro station or 3 blocks from the Hotel de Ville station on the #1 line. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the Rue Rivoli, which we had a balcony. Big bed, small flat screen tv, free wi fi and desk. The room... More

The hotel is in an excellent area, the rooms comfortable and clean, like the bed. Everyday went and changed our towels. The hotel in terms of quality and price for Paris is very good. We recommend it. Surely if we meet again in Paris where we will stay.

Rivoli is the Main Street of Paris, and this hotel is two blocks from City Hall, the Seine, the Marais District. No marks for smooth elevator or pot lights, this is about location, handy breakfast, large room and comfy bed.

If you are looking for a well priced hotel near the Marais area then definately check this one out. We stayed a few years ago and returned again but chose a higher spec room. It's so central and easy to get to the bars at night. Everything seems so close with many places to eat. Despite being on a busy... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
