My teenaged daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Cecilia in November 2010. The location was awsome, right near the Champs Elysees, the Arc and the Charles de Gaulle subway. The Air France bus to the airport was a block away and also very convenient. Great pizzas at the cafe around the corner made by Carmelo. The room... More

Around the corner from the Air France Bus that terminates on Av. Carnot and across the street from the metro entrance on Av. De Wagram. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, Luggage room for the last day! Good Bathrooms (good shower, large bath). Lots of mirrors! Plenty of storage space and hangers. Good windows therefore quiet even though we were... More

Very good location, very close to Air France Airport Coaches, metro, RER A to Disneyland, Arc De Triomphe, and charming Champs Elysees, cafes, supermarkets, restaurants. Further more impressive hotel entrance, warm welcome, incredible gentle front desk servants, well concierge, a little bit old classical style furnishing. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Rooms are small but convenient, comfy beds. No smoking hotel... More

Staying at Hotel Cecilia really enabled ourselves to explore Paris as we wished. It also gave us the chance to relax in a well-looked after hotel, with character and charming staff, all of whom were very understanding of my limited French (typically English!), and very pleasant in answering enquiries on various matters. The room we requested had a balcony and... More

We stayed for 3 nights in October 2010, leaving just before the open-ended strike, and enjoyed our stay. If we were to return, I think we'd try another neighborhood -- just to try something new, this neighborhood and hotel are very nice. PROS: Staff are relatively friendly and speak English. Bathrooms are extremely large by Paris standards. Rooms with balconies... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights at the end of a ten day trip to England and Paris. Hotel is very well located - two minute walk to Arc de Triomphe and the Metro stop. Several nearby cafes were convenient. Good breakfast, nice variety. Room was large with plenty of space to store luggage. Very nice bathroom... More

First of all, this hotel doesn't allow you to change or postpone a paid reservation. My husband and I forfeited a 5 night stay in Sept, having to postpone it to Oct. We were not allowed to get 1 cent back. Two mornings ago, a couple got scolded for coming to breakfast at 10:25 (breakfast ends at 10:30). It isn't... More

Stayed in September for my trip to Paris & London. The first room I got when I reached Paris was very small. The subsequent two rooms I stayed after I returned from my side trips were bigger but still old. Location is good as it is just mins walk to shopping and bus stop to board the airport shuttle bus.... Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
