The hotel was a good deal in great location. The room is small but the bathroom is quite large. The breakfast in the hotel was pretty basic but we enjoyed the convenience. The front desk staff was overall accomodating, with the younger woman day shift receptionist being extremely friendly. The elevator was extremely small and did not work consistently, and... More

Great location, lovely friendly hotel. Lift broken when we arrived and we were on 4th floor. Staff were great help and promised it would be fixed next day and it was. Rooms a bit on the small side but were spotless and have to say it but great aircon and we needed it as it ws very hot when we... More

We were four friends on a weekend trip to Paris. The bus from Charles de Gaulle stops almost right next to the hotel!! Perfect! The staff speaks English and are very helpful. The breakfast is perfect, and the rooms are clean and big enough. We really loved to stay at Cecilia. Perfect location in a nice area of the city.... More

My partner and I just had 3 nights here for my birthday in Paris, not speaking a word of French we were kind of worried but the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The location is perfect as is roughly a 5 min walk from CDG Etoile Metro so you can easily get anywhere in Paris... More

My wife and I and another couple stayed at the Hotel Cécilia in May 2010. Judging from the hotel’s website and ratings from other guests, we had high expectations. We were not disappointed. Hotel Cécilia is situated on Avenue Mac-Mahon (an architecturally attractive street) and is only a block or so from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro. It... More

Located a block from the Arc de Triomphe. Hotel is older, but rooms are quite spacious for Paris. Decor is traditional, but bathroom is fairly modern. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was excellent with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, coldcuts, etc. and terrific croissants! Elevator is very small, almost clausterphobic, but it works. Desk staff was very polite and helpful.

We enjoyed the room, the staff and most of all the delicious generous breakfast. Lots of atmosphere and very convenient to the Metro. This small hotel has everything you need including free wireless.

This was my wife's and my first 'leisure' trip to Paris (I had visited decades ago on business). Although we would be staying for 10 days at a rented apartment with friends we started the trip with a bit of personal time and - placing our trust in Trip Advisor reviews we picked the Hotel Cecilia - it was almost... Stayed 9 nights at the Hotel Cecilia in June 2010. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful with any request. The people at the front desk always greeted you with a warm smile. Lucie, Marie and Nanda were especially great to have at the front desk. Will stay here again if I find myself in Paris. Location was excellent,... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times since 1993, in itself a recommendation. Rooms have been refurbished and bathrooms updated - immaculately kept. Some bedrooms are small and only have a shower and no bath, but they have plenty of storage. TV has only one English speaking channel (CNN). Breakfast buffet, coffee and croissants/rolls wonderfully fresh and good. Staff... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
