ignore the bad reviews .This is a clean hotel with friendly helpful staff, it is within easy walking distance of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. we had 2 rooms for 4 of us and 2 of us had a much better room ,ask for a room overlooking the street, we had a triple room with french doors/windows on the 5 th floor... more

Dirty rooms, dirty linens, noisy, ripped drapes, old scratched furniture, staff not at all helpful, worst price breakfast for what you get. Elevator cramped and scary. How can this be called a Best Western, which normally means great service and value, but not here. more

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, This is with the greatest interest that we read your letter and are very surprised that you did not complain at the front desk. We would have appreciated to have the opportunity to solve these dissatisfactions during your stay. As comfort and respect of our guests are our priority, we regularly make some renovations to give...

pros: clean room, quiet street, close to metro, friendly staff cons: noisy elevator (you hear it going up and down from your room) minor cons: no electric kettle in the room, a very slight stale smell we didn't have the breakfast, but we enjoyed the boulangerie down the street. more

I have stayed at the Astoria Opera in Paris a number of times now, it is one of my first choices because of its superb location above all. It has been a while since I was there, so when I went back last week I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. They have completely renovated the hotel and it is... more

We found the Astoria Opera to be a nicely cared for hotel in a quiet part of town -- it did not seem to be within walking distance to any of the major sights that we wanted to see, however, it was very close to the Metro station -- we do not speak French, but had no problems getting around... more

As per the other guests reviews, the location was good however, the rooms were very small. You could hear the lift at all times, if someone used a bathroom in the room above one could hear it. My bag was stolen in the breakfast room in the hotel on my last day. All my valuables e.g. phone, passport etc were... more

Dear Madam, We would like to thank you for your comments and would like to let you know that we feel very concerned about them. We sincerely regret that your bag, that you left without any surveillance, was stolen in the breakfast room. We draw your attention that like in airports, trains stations and any other public area, your are...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel looked superb from the moment we stepped out of our taxi, wonderful traditional building on a quiet side street, modern entrance area with traditional old staircase; i can honestly say i was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman, who spoke very good English, as did all the staff... more

The Best Western Astoria Opera is a decent place to stay in Paris if you are looking for an affordable hotel that is clean, safe and located close to a Metro station. The location is not in the centre of Paris, but it is a minute away from a Metro station on the outskirts of central Paris and very convenient.... more
