Wonderful hotel, nice and kind recepcionists and also very cozy. Of course, as all others in paris (at least the ones with average price) its apartments are quite small, but for those who are more interested in the city itself, what's the matter?

This hotel is in a perfect location for a trip to Paris. The Eiffel Tower is visible from the front door, there is a Metro station ten meters away and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was spacious and the staff friendly.

For NYE, we enjoyed a four night stay at the Best Western Au Trocadéro. What a nice little hotel. Certainly it wasn't fancy, but the room was big enough, comfortable enough, and fit our needs perfectly. Just one minute to the Metro Station and conveniently located within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower... So no need to deal with crazy... More

My first impression was not good. Room is extremely small. We were tripping over our suitcases and street traffic very noisy. Was going to give it a 2 but actually changed my mind. Room was clean, bathroom pretty big. 4 restaurants right out the door. 10 steps to see a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Rates were reasonable. Steps... More

Good location. Friendly staff. Room quite small but that's okay because I was out the whole day. I didn't take breakfast, the spread is so limited but cost €19. I went to a nearby cafe for cappuccino and croissant that only cost me €4. I did that the whole 4 days I was there. Will probably not stay here again... More

I am rating this hotel among the 3-star hotels where I have stayed. It is the best of the hotels in this class that I know. The key factors for me are: (1) positive attitude of staff; (2) cleanliness of room; and (3) reasonable quiet at night. I found the hotel staff, led by Director Yacine Dermouche, to be most... More

Nice location, front desk very pleasant and helpful, rooms very small, but clean. Rather noisy area, needed to keep windows closed. Breakfast on site at 16Euros each was worth about 4 Euros. Hot dishes were cold. We complained to front desk, they credited the charge but when we checked out , the charge was back on our bill. Manager said... More

My wife and I stayed here for the final 4 nights of a 10-day trip to Belgium and France. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I have to admit that I was shocked at how small the room was, and there appear to only be 4 rooms on each of 5 floors in the hotel, so I don't think... More

We have been to Paris often, but this a great location particularly for first-time visitors. The Eiffel is direct before your eyes right out the hotel entrance. The metro is less than 100 steps from the hotel. The staff member's are nice, but we received a lousy room on the first floor with a view of a wall. The room... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
