I stayed in a Superior Room with my mom in April 2015 for 7 nights. Living in the US, we are accustomed to larger hotel rooms. With that in mind, and wanting a view, I booked a Superior Room. We were given room 46, which had two of the most comfortable twin beds. The rooms was very clean and cleaned... More

Nice location near shopping, but not too close to all of the tourist attractions, which was fine. Very close to the metro, and Paris has a great transportation system so you could get anywhere in Paris very easily. Rooms are a bit small, but it worked for our needs. Bathroom was a good size and everything was very clean. With... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is in a great location, a stone's throw from the metro stop, with a few great restaurants nearby. Not too far to walk to shopping in Montparnasse. Recommend that you have breakfast at the Le D'Union restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Great breakfast for the money. We also had a good... More

Super clean, massive rooms (kidding, the rooms are small). Beds are super comfortable. With windows closed street noise is almost like nothing. Bathrooms are a decent size with plenty of hot water. Our rooms were cleaned everyday, new toels, room service brought excellent food when we ordered it. Location is the city center. Everything thing is within walking distance. Staff... More

Lovely little hotel and it was perfect for our needs of little sightseeing and lots of shopping. The location is great with metro stop right next to the hotel, lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Our room was quite a small, but really clean same as bathroom. We spent 4 nights here. Initially I was shocked by the size of our room which was very small as is the whole hotel. Eg when lift door opens it blocks the whole corridor. However we had a lovely time here. The staff were all great - attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was good. €15. It is possible to find... More

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in April. She was new to Paris, I was not, and this turned out to be geat for both of us - not a super touristy location, close to two Metro lines, and (surprisingly for Paris) extremely friendly staff. Like one would expect in Paris, the room itself was very small... More

I was a bit apprehensive to stay in Paris since French people are notorious about not speaking English but fortunately didn't have a problem. The staff seemed to be friendly and helped me with directions. This hotel is also well-located with a whole lot of restaurants around.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
