We have stayed in this hotel a number of times and have always experienced a warm welcome. The hotel has benefited from a makeover giving it a light, modern feel. The staff as always were excellent, especially Eric on reception. Our room 605 was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast plus the free reception buffet/drinks throughout the day.... Overall this hotel suited all of our needs. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, the hotel was clean, and it was located within walking distance of both the metro and train station. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune, may be coming in by train, and enjoys strolling through Paris... More

We had 5 night stay in nice and cosy hotel that is situated in very convenient and quite area. The metro station is able 7 minutes walk and it is very easy to get to the most popular tourist attractions. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. However, the room for three people is a little bit tiny. The personnel is... More

We stayed from Monday to Friday at the Hotel Acadia on an "April in Paris" trip. It was perfect for us in every respect; its facilities, its location and its staff. The hotel is bright with modern décor; our room was small but very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also well equipped and the towels... More

We stay at this hotel for 4 nights mid week break and found the accommodation, food and staff excellent. Free coffee, tea, cold drinks and pastries were a available in the afternoon which made a nice touch. One of our group was a Coeliac and catered for at breakfast. A good location not far from the opera house. Would we recommend this... More

We stayed for 2 nights. I have nothing but great things to say. I speak little to no French but the staff made me feel right at home. They were great with recommendations, directions, and taxi help on the way out. The staff was quick with a bottle of water after a late night out. It was a simple gesture... More

Spent 4 nights in clean comfortable but small room. Breakfasts are good but could have black tea on the menue, we bought our own. Free afternoon pastries and soft drinks was an excellent idea. No tea or coffee making in the room. No Airconditioning before 1st of May.

OK hotel in a very nkce location near the Opera. Close to shopping, the Louvre and Montmartre. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. Standard OK for the price, but could use a bit of touch up. Clean fresh rooms. Good breakfast (for beeing in France...)

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
