Recently stayed at this very convenient hotel, short walk to the Opera, Galleries Layfette, Printemps Madelaine, etc. the staff were all excellent, particularly Bassam the concierge, nothing too much trouble. We have stayed further out in the city, but the convenience of being so central makes this a great place to stay. One tip, if you eat across the road... More

Sevice is good, location is excellent. I love their offer breakfast and staffs very helpful. Just 1 thing not satisfied is the 'shower', it is strong enough when come out from the tap. But once you change with Shower function, water is very slow and little.

I spend 2-3 nights in Paris about three times a year and have "done the rounds" of most of the hotels in the area. This hotel has it all,in terms of location (shops, metro etc),service, comfort and efficiency. Yes, the rooms are not luxurious but are more than adequate - clean and very comfortable. Free mini bar of non-alcoholic drinks and free snack... More

Lack of communication - i canot work in that hotel. Never again It all started by no mobile network in the room......... ok. Then, the wifi was not working, When requesting support, it's not the hotel problem. They give you a phone number to call ...... but, no mobile connection !!!!!! Old fashion, not 4*

That sums it up. Good location in/near shopping district. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. But average rooms for a 4 star hotel. A bit run down, in need of a re-fit. If they invest in that it could be a good place. Also, free but slow wifi.

This hotel is in a great location, near supermarkets, shops and the train station. It is clean but wouldn't rate it as a 4 star. You cannot order room service during the day, only at certain times. The banging of the doors in the corridor are very disturbing if you are trying to sleep and our AC didn't work unfortunately... More

I was in Paris from September 16-18, 2014. I paid through my nose at more than 300Euros a night for what I rate as a three-star hotel. I did not have a choice since I needed to stay in that area and all other hotels were booked. Supply and demand at work. Location was very good. The hotel itself had... More

Having never been in this part of Paris, i had lots of questions. Luckily for me, every one of the hotel staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Every question I had regarding travel, transportation and tourist info was easily answered. The room was quiet and nicely decorated, and the lobby was a pleasure to be in and even... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
