This place was not terrible. The people were nice and the location was great. They told use breakfast will be served every morning and showed us where, leading us to believe it was included. When we checked out they had charged us 22 Euro each day for some bread and coffee. I will not be back, not because of that... More

Having stayed in many city hotels throughout Europe I found the Etoile Trocadero good value for money. Admitedly the rooms were rather small, but were spotlessly clean and had everything you need. Our bathroom had a bath as well as a shower and towels were changed every day. The breakfast was ideal and set you up for a busy day... More

I stayed the first week in May, it was my second time here in three years. I absolutely love this place. The owners are always on site to help, all the employees are very kind and helpful. Location is about two blocks from the effiel tower and about four from the Arc d'triumph. three subway stops within walking distance. rooms... More

I would not stay here again. Let me elaborate. 1. Thin walls. The phone rang in the room next door and I mistakenly picked up the receiver. If someone is in the hall late at night, you here every word. It will even wake you up... not to mention the bathroom noises or the amorous patron in the floor above.... More

Me and my wife were guests of Etoile Trocadero Hotel from 22nd to 27th Mar'06. The location is really great and Eiffel Tower/Trocadero/Seine is about 5 minutes walk. It is close to 2 metro stations (Victor Hugo & Boissaire - walking distance) and that is a luxury in Paris as we found out. The hotel is slightly expensive considering the... More

Neighborhood Profile
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
