Marvelous hotel, within walking distance Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens, many cafes, Saint Chapelle, metro, etc. Best part was a totally wheelchair accessible, especially the bathroom, which is so important.

I have too much to say about this wonderful Hotel. It was my second time staying there, having stayed there in February 2015. On this occasion my reasons for visiting Paris, was part pleasure part business and the location of the Hotel was just perfect for both. Located in The Saint Germain district of Paris, the Hotel is perfectly set... More

Good room, good bath room... Mattress good for Paris. Breakfast was excellent. Try to get a room on the highest floor possible to avoid the street noise.... We were on the 2nd floor and it was noisy with the window open... Not excessive, but if you are not used to city life it will disturb you. Shut the window and it... More

The room was nice. We got an upgrade to a bigger room without paying any extra. The beds are good to sleep in and the bathroom was nice. The metro is close by and Luxembourggarden is georgous. Would definitly stay here again. The only minus was that it seemed like somebody else ate breakfast on our roomnumber, and the hotelstaff... More

What a wonderful place to stay. We had one week in Paris and found this gem of a place to stay. Location was excellent;close to Sorbonne,Luxembourg Gardens and beautiful cafes and restaurants. We had suite 101 and it was so quiet and peaceful allowing for a great nights sleep after a day touring this magnificent city. The hotel staff were... More

My friend and me traveled to Paris in March and it was my 4th time in Paris. But it was the first time in "Fontaines du Luxembourg". And I was happy to finally find this little hotel. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms new and nice. I would recommend to book a room with view to the street. The... More

Enjoyed our stay in a good enough small room with little storage capacity. Very similar to other Paris hotels we have been in. For the price paid we had ok value. We msy even come back some day as we always enjoy the Luxembourg and St Germain area.

I had emailed the hotel a few weeks early to ask some questions. They responded right away with an answer and said they were looking forward to meeting me. Great first impression! We had an early flight so we arrived at the hotel in the early morning and the staff put us right into a room, which was wonderful! It... More

Had a 3 day break in April 2015 and couldn't have found a better hotel. The staff are absolutely great, the rooms although not large were decorated to a high standard and towels and bed linen changed daily and the breakfasts were continental and plentiful. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
