This modest hotel enjoys a marvellous central location and booked online Is available at a very good price. It is very close to the Louvre, and is in an area packed with great restaurants, bistros, and wine bars

Small double room with handkerchief sized en-suite. Room 204 isn't the smallest room in the hotel but was very cosy for two people. Spotlessly clean and bed exceptionally comfortable. Great nights sleep on both nights. Only annoyance was the room safe wouldn't work. The young lady on reception tried to help with the safe but was unsuccessful.

while not glitzy, the location of this hotel and its quality are outstanding for the price charged. we return year after year. Staff has been generally helpful although one year we had trouble after a date mix-up. We had to have a Local speak to them on our behalf and they changed.

Great rooms in 2-3 star hotel. Good location in royal Paris is good launching point to see entire city. Staff is helpful with limited English but that is OK. Elevator broke at 10 pm Friday and was not repaired until next morning. Oh well, that's life. Staff did their best to apologize. And offered free breakfast.

Terrible stay. No restaurant. We had prepaid for our breakfast but the choice was terrible because there is no kitchen. They just serve packed cold stuff. No hot kitchen items. Its not value for money. Reception staff is polite but certainly not helpful. Bad choice.

Really pleasant stay. Hotel is in perfect location to visit all of Paris. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast poor value for money and room perhaps too hot as A/C not efficient but overall great stay for anyone.

Great location and very good value for central Paris. Plenty of places near by to eat and it was only a 5 minute walk to Le Louvre and Jardin de Tuileries, which was perfect for exploring Paris. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel 5 nights at the end of June 2015. The front staff was always happy and very helpful. The beds were very hard. The shower is very small. I am 6 foot and 250 pounds and had a difficult time moving in the shower. The other room we had the shower backed up 3 days in... More

A small hotel in a very central position of Paris with restaurants and parks near by. Small sleeping room and bath but very clean. Friendly reception staff during the whole stay. Good Price-performence ratio

excellent welcome, newly redone rooms and bath, although small, comfy and quiet at night in this elegant area of Paris away from heavy touristic locations. Palais Royal is an exquisite area with Parisian city life and people. Many restaurants and kindness from every store owners. Don't miss to walk, shop and have a drink at the covered Passage or Gallery... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
