You never know about the Parisian hotels. They could be lousy in some way but they can be charming and wonderful in the other. This hotel is typically such. The guest room itself is nothing to boast about but the small bathroom was newly refurbished and was very good indeed. My room was in the 6th floor and facing to... More

While the property itself isn’t anything to brag about, the location is everything! Next to great dining pontoons and quick metro ride to all major attractions. It’s in a great neighborhood where you get to see local life as well! Very pleased with our stay. Our room was cleaned everyday and the front desk manager, Peter, was very nice and... More

Located just a 10 minute walk from the travel hub "Opera", a 10 minute walk from the Louvre, and the Batobus and a 5 minute walk to the Metro this well kept hotel is located in the quiet financial district with several markets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby to keep the trip costs down! The hotel is kept warm and cozy,... More

Especially the two receptionists Alba and Peter. They speak English aswell which is a definate plus. We strongly recommend this hotel, even though i,ve read some negetive reviews regarding the room size, but hey,... More

The location of this hotel is the best among all the hotels I've stayed in Paris. Very close to Metro station (about 5 minutes walk to Bourse station.) The room was clean, the bed linens were comfortable, my family and myself all slept very well. However, there was a construction at the hotel during our stays which was quite noisy.... More

The location of the Hotel is excellent : walking distance (5-15 min max) to several attractions (Louvre, Opera, Les Halles, Palais Royal) and 3-5 minutes away from the metro station. The room is less than 18 sqm, but is good enough for a comfortable stay. Beds are clean. The negative point is the bathroom which needs some renovation (tiles, shower... More

This hotel is a 3 star hotel and proud of it! The location is good with numerous cafes all around. The room was very clean and the staff friendly. The bed and linens were quite comfortable and we slept well. One has to remember this is a European hotel with locations in many area around Paris. The buildings are old... More

We got a room that smelled bad, had humidity stains on the ceilings and dirty towels. Never paid so much to get so little. The room was also tiny and extreamly uncomfortable. The only good thing was the location.

The hotel has several things going for it. Nice location. Pleasant and helpful staff, with the exception of the manager. Decent breakfast. Elevator. However, I strongly discourage you from staying here. I spent 8 nights at the hotel in June 2014. They will not let you check-in before the official check-in time, even if they have rooms available. I spent... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
