Myself and my husband had a week stay in this hotel. This is the right location to stay if you are in Paris as a tourist. You have everything close bus, city bus tours, trains, subways, bust to the airport, walkable distance to the E. Tower....

Very nice hotel, good service, very small room, but for a little extra, you get a fantastic view. The breakfast was ok, but just that. For a traveller who want's to experience Monmatre, the hotel is placed perfect. I really injoyed my stay.

This is a relatively small hotel at the top of a steep hill in Montmartre. It is well situated for Sacre Couer and Place du Tertre. Lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops near by. The rooms are small but comfortable. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, it is just rooms and a small reception area. You... More

We booked the room with the Eiffel Tower view. ROOM: Typical small Parisian room with a tight bathroom. A water boiler and teabags are provided. Comfy bed and comfy blankets. VIEW: The view is not super close to the tower, but good enough. You can also see the Arc De Triomphe from the room we got. The room was something... More

Placed in the heart of Montmartre almost at the top of the hill you find this cosy hotel. A few mins walk from Place du Tertre and Sacre Coeur in an area filled with many cafees and restaurants. The hotel has some small rooms, but they all have what you need and the prices are reasonable(for Paris). A Metro station... More

Myself and my partner stayed at the Timhotel in January. We booked the holiday only a week before we went. Although at first it took us a while to find the hotel, being my first time in Paris, after that it was perfect. The location is what makes the hotel so great, you can walk 5 minutes up the hop... TimHotel Montmartre is my favourite Paris haunt! It is easy accessible from the Metro (trains and airports), and great atmospherique restaurants and cafe's! A definite choice for 'ambiance' in one of Paris most attractive areas... :-)

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the last being over 10 yrs ago! The main reason for booking has not changed- the view! Always ask for a 4th or 5th floor room with a city view and you won't be disapointed. The rooms themselves are small, but tidy and clean with modern bathrooms. The communal... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
