The welcome From the first email exchange to our farewell, we were made to feel really welcome. I was so astonished by seeing so many smiling happy faces among the staff that I asked the reason. "We all really like working here," was the reply. And this really impacts on the stay Room Our room was not large but we... More

Wonderful little hotel, beautiful rooms (small and bijou) and in an excellent area for exploring the sights of Paris. The staff here are brilliant, they are friendly, helpful and polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. We asked for them to arrange a taxi to take us to CDG, it turns out that it is one of their... More

Staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. No drawers for clothes, but we made do with shelves. Only negative was no good place to store two big suitcases. Great location.

Although the room was not a big as the photo indicated, it was pretty much standard for European hotels. The staff was extremely polite, the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. If you are looking of a very good hotel, a great price, near the metro, in a safe clean, quite area, this... More

We stayed at this hotel when visiting Paris for the French Open. The location is perfect, a short walk to the Sevres-Babylone Metro station. Desk staff was very cordial and friendly at all hours, our room was clean and a good size. We had a view of the street, but the room was very quiet at night, the result of... More

I already stayed several times in this hotel and always has been a great experience. It is located in a very nice area, near the metro and bus stations and the entire hotel team (Valerie, Jonhattan, Maria, Ahmed , Cecile and others) make the most to make all guests happy. The rooms are typically french (do not expect large rooms... More

I picked this hotel because of its location, and I was not disappointed. It is on a very nice street within easy walking distance of the high-end part of Paris' Left Bank (i.e. Saint Germain des Pres) and the centre of Paris(i.e. Cite). However, the best part was discovering the hotel's own neighbourhood. Rue de Rennes & Rue du Cherche-Midi... More

Terrific location with very short walk to Sevres-Babylon metro which can get you pretty much wherever you need to go. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the size was adequate, my theory is you are in Paris. You are basically in the room to sleep. Desk staff could not have been more accommodating and were very helpful in re confirming... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
