We loved this location! I was traveling with my two teenage boys, so we were looking for a single room that the three of us could stay in comfortably. We found it! Just 2 short blocks from the Arc de Triomphe, the Metro station and the Champs Elysees. We were close enough to all the action, yet our street was... More

We had come many times to the Royal. The hotel is very well located (steps from the Arch), is a small one, so their employees do a good effort to be friendly and helpful to you. They do not have a fancy restaurant in the hotel, no need for it (there are very good ones on the neighborhood), but provides... More

A comfortable and friendly hotel and a great location for exploring the rest of Paris. We stayed for a weekend and were very impressed. We had an executive room that was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable and even had a view of the Arc de Triomphe. Staff were welcoming and professional. I would stay here again and I would... More

I stayed here on my last night of a work trip. My company would have been ok with a more expensive hotel but something about the very low Canadian dollar made me lean towards something cheaper. I was actually pleasantly surprised. It is by North American standards probably closer to a 3-star hotel (as you could say about most European... More

Good centrally located hotel offering spacious rooms with nice bathroom facilities. Just minutes walking from Arc de Triomphe. Unfortunately the noise from subway vehicles RER does limit your night rest though. Good breakfast with decent rates.

Why is the centre of Paris so full of "luxury" hotels like this? Hasn't seen any investment for 20 years. Small, strange shaped rooms. Stuffy, musty. My knees brushed the bathroom door when I sat on the toilet. Breakfast wasn't any good either. Glad I was only there one night...

So very sad. I used to stay at this hotel so much when I went to Paris, I thought of it as my home away from home. I had not been there in 15 years. It is not the same. The location is still wonderful. The staff is fantastic. The rooms are just worn. For those who follow me, you... More

Stayed here for the price and closeness to the Champs and transportation. The rooms were very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and attentive. we especially liked the bathrooms. We did have a problem with a cab driver not being able to find this place, but we solved it by having him drop us off at a spot we knew on... More

A grand hotel from the outside, and having stated in similar in London I'd expected our room to be more 'worn' than it was. It was lovely inside, spacious bathroom, comfy, well adorned bed & no noise intrusion from outside. The location was great. Paris is such a walkers city and we trotted off out into the bustling hub each... More

Stayed at week at the Royal Hotel for a business trip. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is 19 euro, and there are amenities such as a pharmacy and market nearby. You can easily stroll the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower in 30 minutes. The staff is also very friendly.

Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
