probably the smallest room i have ever stayed, similar to those hotels in Japan, building is very old. services is not bad, front desk boys are very helpful. breakfast is okay. walk 1 minute to Subway 6, 2 minutes to Subway 13, 5 minutes to the tallest building in Paris, which has a sightseeing floor on top. there are lots... It was a great stay. Perfect location. Room small but comfortable, clean and delicious breakfast. The hotel in general is tastefully decorated. Friendly staff too, but could be more flexible with the check in time when rooms are available.

Arrived on New Year's Eve, put into a room that was not big enough to swing a hamster. To soften the blow my wife and I were offered a free breakfast the next day, even that was disappointing. The hotel had no atmosphere, lifeless and bland. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. There are a number of nice hotels... More

I really liked how the room was set up: pompous linen and curtains in dark red, christal chandelier, stucco work around the ceiling, a nice wooden table and a comfortable armchair. There was an additional little work desk, and what I appreciated much: a little bottle of water and a kettle with a tea and coffee. This is what i... More

The hotel was in a great location. We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect spot for us. We were in walking distance to many places and just down the street from a few metro stations. The was helpful and spoke English. The room was comfortable and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. The only... More

The rooms are very small but to be fair you spend most of your time sightseeing and only hit the room to rest your weary heads. We didn't opt for the breakfast as there are so many cafe's on the same street that I would recommend that you visit them. Good Location for the Montparnasse Bienvenue Metro Station. A vibrant... My partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Prior to our arrival I requested a room with a view and as high as possible given previous comments by travellers, I was surprised therefore to be given a room on the 2nd floor with a direct view of the sex shop! The room was small but that was... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. However I do not think it is a 4 * hotel charging 4* prices. We arrived about 8:45 pm as i had indicated by e mail. We were allocated a twin-bedded room ( as requested) on the 7th floor. The room had a slight musty smell and... More

I'm not sure why this hotel has got bad reviews people obviously have too high expectations for what they pay for. Paid £100 for a double room for one night. (£50 each) which is v reasonable for central paris!! The bathroom was really new and the room clean and air-conditioned. Didn't bother with breakfast there (so near little cafes there's... More

Our stay at the Timhotel on rue de la Gaite was for little over a week. The hotel, services and food are fine, the rooms are just sooo small. I guess the first room we had was about average size for this hotel...we could open our suitcases and still have one person standing in the room. The second room was... More
