Well situated within 5 minutes walk of the Metro and 15 minutes walk from the Bastille. We loved the ultra-modern feel of the hotel - all white walls and bright coloured accessories. Rooms are small but beds very comfortable. Definitely for the gadget minded with ipod dock, flat screen TV and speakers in the shower - but no hair dryer!... more

First: very nice and helpful staff! House in very bad condition, that’s way there are no pictures of the building on the web site… Sad, simple and smal rooms. Wife and I stayed at the Relais de Lyon Bastille for one week (June 27th-July 4th). On the positive side, the service was excellent for a smaller hotel. All of the front desk staff spoke English fluently, which was a tremendous benefit to two people who didn't speak French! Definately budget, but clean. Somewhat sparse rooms--not big. The bed was small but comfortable. Walls are thin, but earplugs worked fine. Probably helped that I was there during the off season. I can only give it a one star. Room was bare basic and clean but not sparkling clean and modern. The area is commercial/residential and not posh but the restaurants are very good.
