We drove to Paris (from North west england) and didn't plan anything. Drove upto the Eiffel tower and checked Google maps for nearby hotels. We are very glad that we picked this hotel. Rooms are spacious and well presented but also very very clean. The window was huge all the way upto the ceiling but unfortunately they only look out... More

Dear Nickfoz1, We are very happy that you enjoy your stay even more if nothing was planned. The housekeeping staff is very thankful for your comment. The large window is important in the kind of city in order to get as lighter as you can. Next time you are coming to the hotel do not hesitate to precise that you... More

Recently renovated it has maintained its main assets, which are larger rooms than usual in Paris. Bathrooms are spacious. It is nicely located between Place toile and Tour Eiffel. A number of good restaurants are in walking distance. Passy has kept the charm of a traditional neighborhood. The only setback is a rather frugal, though nicely presented.

This hotel is well located at the bottom of Rue de la Tour in the elegant 16th. My room was compact but had everything I needed, including a good shower. I was impressed that when rain was forecast an umbrella appeared in my room. The buffet breakfast was very good and served in pleasant surroundings. My only complaint was the... More

If you are looking for a continental breakfast, meaning simple pastry plus coffee, then the very light breakfast buffet here won't disappoint. The water intended to make soft or hard boiled eggs is often so cold that the eggs don't cook. The updated room, and especially bathroom, was very stylish, and the bedding first-rate. The staff was always friendly and... More

I am very pleased with the location, quality and service at this hotel. The hotel has very easy metro access and is located near famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and nicely decorated. My only issues were with the breakfast. You are required to prepare your own boiled... More

Dear Andy T, Thank you for sharing your experience We are pleased that you like the hotel’s decorations, facilities and services. Nevertheless, we are apologizing for the problem you had with breakfast. The price of the breakfast is 20 euros because it is a continental buffet with fresh product (cheese, delicatessen, bread, fruits, pastry, jus, eggs...). We took note of... More

We have spent 3 nights in Maison FL in early October. Hotel is OK. LOCATION Pretty good location despite our initial concerns. Metro station is 300 metres away, Trocadero is in a walking distance. In principle you may reach every major attraction in 20 minutes - using metro or taxi. ROOM We took a Junior suite and it was fine... More

I just got back from my stay at Maison FL. The rooms are lovely, I couldn't have been happier with the decor. I had a window on the street that opened up. It is about a block to the Passy metro station and there is also a taxi stand around the corner. About a block away is a Monoprix for... More

We stayed in the Junior Suite which was fantastic, very spacious, huge bed and the best bathroom. Very comfortable room. Not the best view and didn't have a balcony but it didn't spoil anything. Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
