Wide streets, which dissipate most of the traffic noise.Centrally located close to thr Harrods of Paris ie La Fayette. Go to the roof and you will be treated to a wonderful panorama of Paris. What readers may not appreciate is that the hotel is a short walking distance from the "laneways/Passages" which are the centre of many artisan and curio shops. One can... The Hotel is located on Boulevard Haussmann, in walking distance to a variety of restaurants, e.g. the Hard Rock Cafe, and also to Gallery LaFayette. Also, it's near a subway station. The Rooms are nice and very quiet even the ones facing he street. Staff is ok and friendly. We'll stay there again if in PAris, mainly because of the... More

We won't stay here again. We asked the Front Desk to make a dinner reservation for the next day. No one ever got back to us to let us know if it was OK. We asked the day of and no one new. Finally found someone who said yes they did it. Also asked about trains and they sent us... More

This location is good and is north of the Louvre. It is very quiet. The restaurant's breakfast is fairly good. Room service was quick. Metro stops very close by. Two quirky old-style elevators that work fine. Free wifi.

This is a nice hotel. the rooms are spacious, the staff polite and it is clean. The management seems to set bad priorities however. The wifi is hit or miss which is crucial to business travelers. If you go to the hotel bar, you need to get attention of staff or you will not be served. This occurred every night... More

This hotel's location is probably it's best feature. The room we had was a bit shabby, with stains on the carpet. The restaurant was closed except for the included breakfast, which was fine. Next time in Paris, we'd choose to try some place different.

I stay quite often at this hotel and I like it. The rooms are relatively small and very typical for Paris (a bit outdated) and very basic, but clean. Breakfast is good and varied. There is no gym at the hotel. In terms of location it is very close to a Métro station and to Galeries Lafayette. Also, the hotel... More

Hotel with luxe style and some old flavor. Great location at Boulevard Haussmann near Printemps Shopping and Opera. Walking distance to Louvre. Good rooms, good service. Good value price/accommodations. Will go back again

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
