Hotel Francois is my second home away from home, at least two maximum four times a year we go to Paris for work and we stay at the Hotel Francois, with a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 days each time. I would not change Hotel Francois for any other Hotels, over there I have found friends hospitality... More

I hadn't stayed at this hotel for a while and was happy to go again. The hotel is under renovation, and my experience was a bit "damaged" by this : very strong paint smell in the room, a bit noisy during daytime (but I can understand). The biggest warning / disappointment was about the hot water in the bathroom :... More

We arrived early before check in. The hotel receptionist, David, allowed us to leave our bags and gave recommendations for things to do before the room was ready. David was a huge help during the entire course of our stay. He was always available to help us arrange transportation, recommend sites, and provide a cheery grin. The rest of the... More

A nice 3 stars hotel. The front desk people were very professional and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and beautiful. However, as it happens in many hotels in Paris the room was small.

good location for a paris trip is very important. This is a very good location, good connections, great surrounding, bars, restaurants, opera isn't far etc. Whats a bid disappointing (but they are working on it) is the status of the facilities - all a bid worn out. Staff is very friendly and helpful (means a lot in paris) - breakfast... More

The hotel room where we stayed is clean and decent. Though it can't be avoided that noise around the city could be heard as early as 5 in the morning... but very accessible to almost all places you want to go.

I stayed here for just 1 night with a friend. Initially we were given a double room by mistake but this was soon rectified and we were upgraded to a twin premier room with a little balcony overlooking the street. First impressions of the rooms were very good. It was clean and well maintained. There were a few weird things... More

Stayed there with two kids and it was central, clean, comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful if they tried. Great vibe in the area and yet still a quiet room. It's a bit old and rattles in places but the rooms were large and good to stay in.

My husband and I have had very positive experiences with this hotel during two different stays in Paris. The room amenities are first rate for the price. And the location makes the city quite accessible. (There is a metro stop by the front door.) Equally important, the hotel manager and staff go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable... More

We were a family of 3 with a week in Paris. We had a great room, compete with a separate room with king bed, plus a living space with divan for our son. Separate toilet, double basin in bathroom - these small details make a difference when there are 3 people in a hotel room. We had a room on... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
