This hotel was in a great location and the room we had was quiet (3rd floor), had a King size bed (that was hard to find in Paris), robes and we received complimentary champagne delivered to the room on arrival. My only complaint was the combined shower gel/shampoo in the dispensers because I take baths and the dispenser was high... More

We recently stayed 3 nights in April, 15. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions on how to get around. Free wifi worked really well. We watched movies via Netflix on our laptop no trouble. Both reception staff spoke english which made it easier for us. Our room was facing the street on the 3rd floor and was lovely.... More

We spent our first two nights at Tryp Paris because it was more centrally located to some tourists spots, and a few good restaurants recommended to us. It was perfectly fine! But a far cry from the lovely experience we had staying in the Marais later in the week. Our room was stuffy -- I guess we visited during the... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in May 2015. The first thing to say is that it is in a great location. It is right next to Grand Boulevards metro station and there is a cab rank outside. There are a large number of restaurants and bars within a short walk. The hotel is quite small (about... More

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights Hotel - the hotel is going through a lot of refurbishment at the moment the rooms have been painted and the reception and breakfast area has had a new floor and new furniture had been delivered when we were there. So the hotel is in very good condition. Location - Its on Boulevard... More

We stayed here during the last leg of our trip. It is a nice and clean hotel but the only downside is the construction going on at the time we were there. The moment you walk in, we smelled the fresh paint all over the hotel including our room. We have to leave our windows open to get rid of... More

I would not change Hotel Francois for any other Hotels, over there I have found friends hospitality... More

I hadn't stayed at this hotel for a while and was happy to go again. The hotel is under renovation, and my experience was a bit "damaged" by this : very strong paint smell in the room, a bit noisy during daytime (but I can understand). The biggest warning / disappointment was about the hot water in the bathroom :... More

We arrived early before check in. The hotel receptionist, David, allowed us to leave our bags and gave recommendations for things to do before the room was ready. David was a huge help during the entire course of our stay. He was always available to help us arrange transportation, recommend sites, and provide a cheery grin. The rest of the... More

A nice 3 stars hotel. The front desk people were very professional and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and beautiful. However, as it happens in many hotels in Paris the room was small.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
