Travel planner, stayed with TRYP Europe locations many times, now seeking a refund for a canceled room, Expedia did not cancel and caught in a loop between TRYP Opera, Expedia and American Express....disappointed in all. Same situation w/ Choice booking for Comfort Inn Paris and they IMMEDIATELY ISSUED ME A TOTAL REFUND for reservation that I had attempted to cancel,... More

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so, level 3 and 5 smell of fresh paint. But, the rooms are a good size and leaving the window open at night reduces the odour. The beds are comfy and the bathroom was ok, a bit small but, the shower had good water pressure. The location was very good because it was right... More

Currently staying in this lovely hotel. Massive room for big city hotel, massive and very comfortable bed ( must be 2x2m ) Great location, mini bar and room service... Fantastic Joyce for mother/daughter trip to celebrate end of GCHE's. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We had a family room on the 6th floor which was 2 rooms and a bathroom so was quite big. David at the reception was excellent and gave great advice. Location is amazing with metro station right outside and taxi rank also just outside. Can get the hope on hope off bus... More

First room that we've received was terrible - there was noise outside the window because there were airconditioners working day and night so it was hard to fall asleep. Next day we received another room - it was better because it was queiter but it was cold at night. Room was tidy but very small. Nothing special about the hotel... More

If I could give this place a Negative rating I would. I arrived at this hotel for check in on June 18, 2015. Upon arriving in my room. We noticed that there was mold all along the wall of the room. We immediately notified the hotel staff and they were NOT surprised to hear about the mold. In fact, the... More

This hotel was in a great location and the room we had was quiet (3rd floor), had a King size bed (that was hard to find in Paris), robes and we received complimentary champagne delivered to the room on arrival. My only complaint was the combined shower gel/shampoo in the dispensers because I take baths and the dispenser was high... More

We recently stayed 3 nights in April, 15. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions on how to get around. Free wifi worked really well. We watched movies via Netflix on our laptop no trouble. Both reception staff spoke english which made it easier for us. Our room was facing the street on the 3rd floor and was lovely.... More

We spent our first two nights at Tryp Paris because it was more centrally located to some tourists spots, and a few good restaurants recommended to us. It was perfectly fine! But a far cry from the lovely experience we had staying in the Marais later in the week. Our room was stuffy -- I guess we visited during the... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in May 2015. The first thing to say is that it is in a great location. It is right next to Grand Boulevards metro station and there is a cab rank outside. There are a large number of restaurants and bars within a short walk. The hotel is quite small (about... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
