We went to Paris when the shooting and hostage taking was happening. Unfortunately the metro stop we were getting off was closed due to it. We then got lost as we had no way of knowing which the direction of the hotel was. Fortunately a young French student very kindly put us on the right track and walked with us... More

Being that the room rates were cheap I didn't expect much, but it was great, loved the design and very updated rooms, the bathroom and everything perfect just like in the pictures, the hotel staff were very polite and I enjoyed my stay here, just a 15 minute train ride from downtown Paris to seeing all the wonderful sights, restaurants... We stayed here for 4 nights early in December. The hotel is out of the busy city centre areas and for us we found that to be perfect. It is about 2 mins walk from te Belair metro station which allows you to easily explore paris. There is a supermarket opposite which is handy and the local area feels very... More

Have just got back from a fabulous trip to Paris staying at the Allegro. Thanks to all the previous comments here, it made our trip so much easier! We got the eurostar across to Paris which comes in to the Garde du Norde station. From here, we got the metro across to the hotel. We bought our first day ticket... More

Stayed here for two nights with my husband. Hotel including rooms were spotless and the reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was good - continental with enough choice to start your day. Location of the hotel was good, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close enough for a short taxi or metro ride... More

Hotel is decorated beautifully, not too sure about 4* category though. Breakfast was included for us but definitely NOT great and NOT full breakfast, only there for 2 nights and availability was limited everything we asked for by 9:10 am at latest was either all gone or just not available. 1st morning no pancakes, 2nd morning no bananas and all... Really cool hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Felt like a boutique hotel, with some nice touches in decor and lighting. Be aware you'll have to use the metro extensively to see any of the sights, but with three metro stations nearby you have plenty of options. Hint: Picpus Metro is the nearest at 8... More

I stayed in this hotel for four days and I can't find any fault. Rooms are clean and smelling fresh. The staff are very helpful. It's not very far from Gare du Nord but I had to take the cab from the hotel. Good stay and value for money. Definitely go back there.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff. From the receptionists who are all fluent in English to the staff in the breakfast room and the lovely Chambermaid. The hotel is newly renovated and the room was spotless. Small but everything you could need including complimentary bathroom bits. A super range for breakfast and all you can eat. 5 mins from... 2 adults and 1 child stayed here June/July, for a cultural sightseeing trip of Paris. the hotel is very comfortable and clean, but the staff can be a little off hand with you and don't stop to see if any one is listening, when reprimanding and ridiculing lower ranking staff. we felt embarrassed to witness this. the wifi was practically... Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
