Nice enough hotel for a short stay in Paris. They speak English. Check in was simple and painless and the room was ok. Standard hotel room with all the required amenities. The only negative was my room was facing the busy main road so the noise was difficult to get used to. So ask for a room at the back... More

We were very happy with this hotel. Right across the street from Gare d'Austerlitz, you can get anywhere very easily. Though you can walk to Notre Dame and the Spanish quarter in 15 minutes if you choose. There are also really great restaurants and bars all along the same street. I do recommend it.

The relation between quality, comfort, location and price is the ideal for who is visiting Paris as a regular tourist. Near to the hotel you have access to underground and trains of Austerlitz. There are a few restaurants, including a McDonalds on the same block. There are two important considerations about the hotel, the first one is that it is... More

The hotel is in excellent location near train and metro stations, there is plenty of restaurant near by. The room was clean except that it was too small although it was family room but it didn't affect our stay because we used to spend day outside and the hotel was only for sleep.staff was friendly and the speak English very... Me and my mother stayed here a few days ago, for 3 nights. We cooked a cosy double room on booking.com well in advance. The location of this hotel is superb, right across the road from Paris Austerlitz station. This has direct connections to Paris City via RER line C, for example, just a few stops from the Eiffel Tower... More

I stayed here for one night on business. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls are thin so most of the night I was kept awake by the people in the next room. The hotel is centrally situated and was close to the station for access to other parts of the city/airport. The hotel... More

We stayed here for three nights September, 2014, and found the room to be small and compact but everything was there for a SHORT stay and everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was reasonable however we recommend the local bakery only a few yards away, (as is McDonalds). There is the most beautiful park 50 metres... More

Great location - close to the station and metro, and most main attractions are walkable (within 30 mins). Room was very clean & comfortable, staff very helpful (spoke English, although not an issue for us). Breakfast @ 12€ was good value esp for central Paris!!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the weekend for a special occasion. The location is good, close to the metro and restaurants. However we was not happy with our stay. We had a room at the back of the hotel (503), we had a dirty stained sheet on our bed. Our curtains were hanging off. The shower door wouldnt... More

This hotel is right across from the Gare de Austerlitz, so is very convenient if you want to take a train from Paris. It is very close to a Metro stop and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was very welcoming and helped us with some travel snags.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
