Great location to the metro which takes you to all the important sights. Small but clean room with all the needed facilities. A variety of restaurants to choose from just outside the hotel which was great.

I was travelling alone when I stayed here and it was fantastic. It may have been a bit crowded had there been 2 in the room but still well worth it for comfort and convenience. Although the train station is opposite, the noise from there and the street is not intrusive.

This hotel is ideal if you just want somewhere to crash after a day of sight seeing & not pay a small fortune! The rooms are small but no big deal as it was clean & tidy. Very good location right near to metro station & a couple shops / supermarket next door. Suburb itself isn't that great , but... More

The location of this hotel is excellent it's opposite the metro station gare d'austerlitz. So from Eurostar station Gare Du Nord, you can get on line 5 and it's about 10 stops and your at the hotel in a few minutes walk. The hotel is sandwiched between many brassiere restaurants. We had a room that looks on to the main... More

We enjoyed staying at Libertel Austerlitz. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and rooms and hotel is modern. The only issue is that the room and bathroom was a little small but I guess that's to be expected in Paris. The hotel is opposite a train station which we used daily and there are some nice places to eat along the road.... More

Paris normally has small rooms, but when travelling with 2 huge suitcases you cannot even move around the room comfortably. It's tiny. Water from the shower floods the bathroom floor, and the walls are very thin so you could hear your neighbours. Location is good. Very close to metros. Comfortable bed.

Clean and confortable but nothing special to offer. The room was really small and almost no bathroom amenities. Specially handy for commutes from/to Austerliz train station, but no other reason to pay the fee to stay there.

This hotel appeared to be good value for money when looking for a place to stay in Paris on the internet. First impressions were a shock man this room is small, but it was clearly clean and tidy, a place to sleep & shower it would do. Knowing we had a busy schedule with tours and things to see etc... A friend advised us this hotel for an offer that was on the internet and was a good choice. Attention and service excellent, especially at breakfast. Small but comfortable, clean and adequate room, just enough to give us some rest and a bath. Good location, transportation to the train station just opposite and restaurants on the same street.

On arrival we were asked if we would like to leave our suitcases downstairs as they said it would be a bit cramped with them in the room. We declined and took the cases to our room, they weren't kidding about it being cramped! Tiny room, just enough room to squeeze past the bed to stack our cases in the... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
