We had stayed here as a couple over 20 years ago and I had kept the card! The location is great which is why we came back. Obviously it has been updated during that time and the rooms were clean. Baths were looking a little tired but the Jacuzzi bath in our room was a hit with both teenagers. We... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2015. The hotel is very central, with a good view of the Arc de Triomphe at one end of the road and the Eiffel Tower at the other end! No more than 10 minutes walk to either of them. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful, even opening... More

A fairly small and quaint hotel right in the heart of Paris. Walking distance from L’Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, we could not have asked for a better location. And another plus was the proximity to a metro station – Boissiere – a 3-4 minute walk. The rooms were small, but clean, cheerful and equipped with a kettle,... More

I chose this hotel as it was near a bus stop and metro station and so I could relax in the en-suite spa bath after sightseeing all day. The room overlooked a quiet street off the Avenue Kleber and was pleasantly decorated. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast. I... More

We found a good deal at this hotel and enjoyed the proximity of the champs elysees and the Eiffel tower (walking distance). The rooms are generous for Paris standards, comfortable bed and clean bathroom although a bit dated. The small balcony grants a refreshing view of the surroundings. Plenty of magnificent boulangeries around to avoid the 10E breakfast. There's a... More

My aunt was responsible for booking this hotel: I was grateful she did! It was my first time in Paris and the hotel's decor, features, and the friendly staff lent a lot to my experience. The decor was very French; it felt very luxurious despite its moderate size. I was not impressed by the breakfast provided [continental breakfast for 9-17€]... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
