Polite and helpful staff - would thoroughly recommend this hotel based on location, quality rooms and overall experience. Good showers and generally spacious feel - it had the feel of a top end hotel but without the cost

We had connecting rooms (hard to find in Paris!) for ourselves and our two children aged 8 and 11. We were visiting family, and using the hotel as a base - very friendly reception staff, comfortable beds, and no problems. Would definitely stay again - merci!

Clean and friendly hotel in fantastic location close to Sorbonne, Notre Dame and metro stations. Friendly staff made great restaurant recommendations. Requested joining rooms and had 2 rooms next to each other with a door in the corridor which could be locked to keep the rooms private. did not eat in hotel as there was a bakery close by to... The important thing with this hotel is that the hotel is situated in walking distance from many of the most important cultural institutions of Paris and Universities and is also close to the most beautiful parts of Paris and the river Seigne. There are few minutes away perfect restaurants.

Great hotel, staff very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, we had a lovey room at the front of hotel. If anything the lighting in the room was a little dark, which I didn't mind, but maybe an issue for some. There are loads of super restaurants nearby, spoilt for choice! Metro very handy , but most attractions... More

This was the first trip to Paris for me and my wife. We booked online based on price, advertising itself (at least that was how I read it) as a four star experience. Booking ahead we were able to get our room at a discounted rate, and since we were travelling off-season, the hotel was indeed a bargain. The room... More

Four of us enjoyed a few days at the Villa Pantheon in the Sorbonne area of Paris which is very close to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The hotel was very nice but the rooms were small, even by European standards. Lots of dining options in the area and is in walking distance to a lot of attractions. The service... More

Just returned from a stay at the villa pantheon. Throughly enjoyed my stay. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful, hotel very clean, room lovely and clean and nice decor. Quite small rooms but no need for them to be bigger enough for 2 to move about. Breakfast food very nice and a nice variety. Good location lots of restaurants... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
