I was in Paris for one night for business and the Villa Pantheon was excellent value for money, great location and very clean. Rooms are maybe a bit dark, but that didn't matter at all. I only used the room to sleep in! :-) Highly recommend.

I had a nice and quiet room to the rear of the building and a very enjoyable stay. The staff on the reception desk were fantastic. They were happy to help me with French vocabulary, made several very good recommendations and went beyond what I expected of them. One gentleman was particularly helpful in tracking down an archaic phone charger... More

Great location. Centrally located. Many good restaurants in close proximity. Friendly and responsive staff. Very nice room with ambiance and character. The breakfasts were good. The ply comment is they could use some fans or air conditioning in the dining area / basement.

This hotel will suit you, if you care most of all about a central location. It is definitely not a 4 star anymore. The room was ok, small (like all hotelrooms in Paris) but functional. The bathroom was very dated and should be renovated. We would certainly stay in this hotel again, but only if we can get a special... More

The people at the reception guided us about restaurant locations, how to get to other parts of the city efficiently and were very friendly. The atmosphese at the lobby is informal and pleasant. The street is pretty quite and many attractions are within walking distance.

I love this hotel! I've stayed there on 4 different trips and I will stay there again on my next trip. I love the location - quiet street, yet SO close to fun restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. Good WiFi, too!

The hotel is a little tired but the staff were very helpful as I continually had problems with the WiFi. Good location for walking to most major landmarks. Special thanks to Edward for all his suggestions.

Arrived at the hotel on the first day of what was supposed to be a three-night stay, and was told that because of "plumbing issues" they had to ship me off to another hotel. That hotel turned out to be FAR inferior and I'm guessing gets a good portion of their business from the captive victims of Pantheon's little scheme.... More

Great hotel in the midst of the Latin Quarter. Friendly staff clean comfortable rooms nice bathroom. Bar and room service. Great value for the location. It is a typical hi the rooms not too big but we are two in the room and even with all of our luggage we gave enough space. Wound come back again.

Great location! Walking distance to Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, good restaurants and many other places. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. We wanted to learn more French, so one of the desk clerks gave my daughters a "French word of the day" each day. We had the "adjoining rooms" which were perfect for a... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
