I love this hotel! I've stayed there on 4 different trips and I will stay there again on my next trip. I love the location - quiet street, yet SO close to fun restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. Good WiFi, too!

The hotel is a little tired but the staff were very helpful as I continually had problems with the WiFi. Good location for walking to most major landmarks. Special thanks to Edward for all his suggestions.

Arrived at the hotel on the first day of what was supposed to be a three-night stay, and was told that because of "plumbing issues" they had to ship me off to another hotel. That hotel turned out to be FAR inferior and I'm guessing gets a good portion of their business from the captive victims of Pantheon's little scheme.... More

Great hotel in the midst of the Latin Quarter. Friendly staff clean comfortable rooms nice bathroom. Bar and room service. Great value for the location. It is a typical hi the rooms not too big but we are two in the room and even with all of our luggage we gave enough space. Wound come back again.

Great location! Walking distance to Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, good restaurants and many other places. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. We wanted to learn more French, so one of the desk clerks gave my daughters a "French word of the day" each day. We had the "adjoining rooms" which were perfect for a... More

The staff is great and very helpful. The hotel needs a renovation. Elevators make noise, bedrooms on the street are noisy. One does not have a proper air cooled system and the furniture are old. The bathrom is equally of another standard than 4 star.

In my last review I highlighted two main shortcomings with the hotel and so I'm not repeating myself on the generalities of my stay I'll only address these problems as everything else remained unchanged. The wifi: During my last stay the wifi was slow and tended to drop out regularly. On my most recent stay I was glad to discover... More

The hotel was okay but not 4stars. it could do with an overall renovation. Our room was somewhat worn - floor, cupboards and bathroom (broken tiles). Reception staff friendly and helpful. Best is the location for sightseeing and metro.

Polite and helpful staff - would thoroughly recommend this hotel based on location, quality rooms and overall experience. Good showers and generally spacious feel - it had the feel of a top end hotel but without the cost

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
