Location: Close to a couple of metro stations which will lead you to major Parisian attractions. The room is small but adequate for a couple to stay. One thing I would recommend to improve would be the beddings were not adequate only a thin, hard blanket - not the most comfortable. Pillows were fine. Breakfast included, typical continental breakfast -... More

I liked the intimate atmosphere of the hotel, and very good placement it's near shops, good restaurants and theatres...but also, metro station is 5mn walk and it's easy for connection for other destinations through Paris. ..

Small room but with everything you need in place. Clean and with both lights and bathroom facilities in order. Good price for a decent room without luxurary but with nothing missing. I would recomend this hotel for people that needs a a good room for the night.

It is really a nice hotel with original decoration. The atmosphere is very nice and friendly, it is very clean, sheets and towels are changed every day. The hotel is strategically situated, close to the center and public transport.

The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location of the hotel was excellent as everything was within walking distance. The actual room was a bit warm because there is no air conditioning. When you open the window, there is a fair bit of noise from the street below. Our room was quite small, but clean and adequate.... As someone who can relate what you pay to what you get, I think this place was ok. 6 Nights in August for just over £300 and it gave us a perfect base for seeing Paris - 5 min walk to 2 metro's on different lines put you 15-20min max travel time from hotel to any attraction. No it's not... More

My fiance and I have just come back from a 3 night stay in this hotel. The day we arrived the temperature was 32 degrees. The air conditioning didn't seem to be working, and so on our way out we asked at reception if it could be looked at. We were told "There is no air conditioning in this hotel,... More

Reading some of these reviews, I'm wondering if they're paid for or if the people in question are confusing this with another hotel. My advice to anyone wanting to stay here is: DON'T! I was here for 2 nights at the beginning of August & am still recovering from the experience. Firstly, the rooms are so small, you won't be... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
