We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Flanked in the middle of Cadet Metro of line 7 and Grands Boulevards Metro of line 9, close to the Opera, its really a good location to all the major attractions. There are good restaurants/take-aways nearby and its pretty quiet area. The local armed security patrolling in the next rue (Rue Richer)... More

This is a small treasure of a hotel. The staff is multilingual and very helpful with any needs that arise, the rooms were kept spotless, breakfast is first class and it is located right across the street from the follies. Within walking distance of all the best places to be. Only downer is no internet in the rooms. We had... More

Hotel has perfect location BUT smallest rooms, are too small, walls are very thin and dirty and you can hear everything from your neighbours. NO internet. Empty bar. Elevator was not working. We asked reception to find better place and were sent to another hotel owned by the same group. It was a bit clean, double rooms has no street... More

Very good location near the centre of Paris. Pros: It's a small but cosy hotel and the breakfast was good despite the lack of variety. It has a safary style decoration but old and a bit outdated. Very quiet zone even with windows open at night. Cons: The carpet floor and the paper walls should be replaced with a more... More

Some reviews are a bit tough on this place, it isn't too bad and makes a good cheap stay in a central location. I stayed in April on the top floor. Only complaint is that the room was far too hot and I had to sleep with the windows open. The narrow backstreets outside can be quite loud at night... More

I learned a hard lesson that location and convenience aren't everything. Paris is beautiful and I loved it, unfortunately, a wrong choice of hotel experience made me don't really want to go back, at least for a while. Anyway, this hotel makes this Paris trip most memorable in the entire life. Thank you.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been. We stayed there for 5 nights. The air conditioner system was broken down, despite we have complained to the staff, no one dare to fix such or followed up. The hygiene condition of the room was horrible, blood stains appeared on the shower curtain, carpets were dirty and the bed linens... More

Hotel needs serious updating, have to say that our rooms were clean. The thing that made our stay worthwhile were the staff, reception staff friendly and helpful. A special mention for Wissem, he was taking care of breakfast on his own, was busy putting food out, clearing tables and still managed to be helpful and friendly. No request was too... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
