A wonderful spot located in the 9th Arrondissement. For some American tourists, it may be considered "off the beaten path"; for experienced travelers, or adventurous novices, this hotel has much to recommend it. First of all, it's peaceful and QUIET; the rooms are immaculately kept and the bathrooms are superlative; there are TERRIFIC restaurants close-by (Supernature!); and several convenient metro... Clean accommodation, great location and very helpful staff. Would go back and stay at this hotel just because the staff go out of their way to help. They also have a well equipped gym. Breakfast was included in the price if you booked through their website.

Booking this property in advance can save you money, and place you reasonably close to the Metro and major attractions. The Opera District is a fine one. The rooms are spacious and they have fine working plumbing and heating. If you've stayed in large European cities before, you know that these are not a given. The service is poor. The... More

Dear Guests, We thank you for your comments. We are very surprised about your remark regarding the service, we do not understand what the problem was exactly. We had a great view of the sacre coer, the hotel staff were always extremely helpful, and there was plenty of access to transport just a few minutes walk away, that led to all the major attractions. I really enjoyed my stay and I... More

Really reasonable price, it was clean and well equipped. The chap at reception helped me with an adapter which is really sweet. No batteries in the TV remote but I'm sure if I wanted they would have had at reception. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night, but liked everything about it. Location is great, just few minutes to Opera, Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and subway stations Cadet and Grands Boulevards. The area is not loud, filled with shops and cafes. We were traveling by car and parked it on Parking Rex Atrium, which is located on... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
