Very convenient location, near the Opera and the department stores. Keep in mind it is a three star Hotel so the rooms are very simple. However our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price of room with breakfast was really great very reasonable. Breakfast was very good- cereals, salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, tasty breads and... More

Dear madam, sir, Thank you for sharing your experience. Effectively, taxis start to charge from the moment we call them and the value on the counter depends of where there where when calling. For the Airports, you can also select Air Fance buses, train or shuttle service. Our staff will be happy to inform you about these services. Looking forward... More

The hotel is only 10-15 mins walk from Gare du Nord train station and is in a great location - The nearest metro is only 5 mins walk which also has easy direct route to the Eiffel tower. There is also a good variety of shops in the area, restaurants, cafes, clothes shops etc. The main shopping district starting at... More

Very clean room. Very friendly and knowledgable receptionists. Well located to Gare Du Nord station and Metro. Room could have benefitted from more storage for clothes, etc.. We did not have breakfast during our stay so cannot speak as to the quality of this. The room did benefit from air conditioning which was appreciated as the weather was very warm... More

The hotel gave me some bad experiences in our stay. Although the team has been very cuts at first, I felt cheated to have requested a taxi to drop us off at the airport. However, the receptionist, against my will and without my knowledge, requested a Shuttle. This brought me problems because we had to go back to the hotel... More

The Hotel Aida Opera is in a great location. It's near many restaurants and cafes and it felt safe. The staff was friendly and they seemed to care about the patrons. The breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but it was adequate. The room was ok, generally clean, bathroom was nothing to write home about but it got the job done,... More

This little hotel is central to all the major attractions and very close to the metro. Surrounded by cafes of all persuasions ( Chinese, Japanese, African, etc and, of course, the ubiquitous French cafe) you will be spoiled for choice when dining out. The staff (especially Tina on reception) are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All speak... More

The hotel was fine. Not standout, but very good. Friendly staff. Decent location within (long) walking location of a lot of interesting sights. Now I have to include a bunch of random words to reach 200 characters.

The booking was easily made and paid for through a broker website with no complications. The room was cheap and simple to match the price. It was a basic room with shower that was hardly clean but practical and the sink had no possible way to empty water (that both of us were capable of figuring out). The staff were... More

Dear Madam, sir, Thanks you for your comment. The Hotel Aida Opera also have bigger rooms, superiors or familly rooms and there is effectively a difference between double and twin bedded rooms as twin rooms are quite bigger. The TV sets are all alwing to receive at least 7 foriegn channels. Looking forward to welcome you again Best regards Emmanuel More

Aida Opera is a very pleasant hotel in which to spend a few days, in a nice neighborhood quite convenient to the metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was charming. Somehow we didn't know when we booked that the hotel's breakfast is kosher (Beth Din of Paris supervision--you can ask to see the certificate), which... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
