This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is a very quiet hotel in the heart of Paris. We could enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the city and we felt the history of Paris. It was the perfect place to stay, this former residence of Madame de Pompadour. The staff was very friendly, especial madame Lamya, an excellent travel guide. They tried their best... More

This was a trip dedicated only to Paris and hence we wanted a central location which allows us easy approach to major attractions. We had taken 2 rooms and allotted at sixth floor, both facing the road for two couples. Its located in a quaint little but narrow street, as is all the inner streets of Paris! We were quite... More

The hotel is well located near the Louvre Museum and pyramids and palais royal metro station. Check inn was quick, the staff is efficient but not very friendly. The room is small, the closet allows only two cabin size luggage inside of it, also the bath is small and you have to be really careful when you enter into the... More

Just back from 3 nights in Paris at the Hotel Washington Opera with two 11 year old children. A really super hotel; fantastic location close to the Louvre and loads of eating places nearby especially Japanese and on Boulevard des Italiens. From Wally's welcome to delicious fresh breakfast (continental but plenty for us) and very clean room I thought it... More

After booking a single room for 20 July online (via Trivago and HotelsClick) GTWO did not honour my bargain priced voucher. They demanded over 100 Euro more for a room. I was so shocked and wasn't sure of international law relating to internet bookings that I paid. It took two months for the additional charge to be refunded (Thank you... More

This was our first trip to Paris and our travel agency recommended this hotel. We loved the hotel and staff. The room was spacious and nice, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect, centrally located by all of the beautiful Paris attractions and great for planning walking excursions to anywhere. We especially appreciated the helpful staff. They proactively... More

Only location and bath room was good. Furniture was old and where out from usage. Towel and room was maintained daily. Even I pay everything in advance and ask 3 times receptionist about my payments, in the day I leave I had to pay additional 31.-EUR for city tourist tax.

We picked this Hotel from Tripadvisor based on good reviews and central location - just north of The Louvre. We stayed 3 nights. Whilst our first visual impression of the street frontage was less than impressive, that impression changed when we walked into the small foyer. At once we felt welcomed into a clean and cosy environment. Do not expect... More
