- Prince Albert Monceau Hotel
- Prince Albert Monceau Paris

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Reading the reviews we were not expecting luxury but having looked on the website thought the rooms looked ok. When we arrived we were put in a room on the third floor, which was a bit of a climb up the spiral staircase but would have been ok had the room...

I've been to Prince Monceau during the summer and the thing I regret the most about it was the fact that it didn't had an A/C system. It was extremely hot in Paris, over 30ºC during the whole day.
When I opened the door of my room it was a real mess, I had to call the manager and wait...

The hotel room isn't noise protection. You can hear people climb up/down the stairs. There were people returned to their rooms after mid-night and you were awake by their loud noise. The owner isn't nice. They charged the rates different than what they promised. They will also charge you for making free phone calls (1-800 calls).

Having lived in Paris for a year, I knew exactly where this hotel was located so had no qualms about the actual distance from the sights (e.g Champs Élysées) unlike other reviewers. Yes, the walk will take about 40 minutes but the tube is close by and buses run frequently to all the popular destinations.
What I was not prepared...

Apart from the lack of a lift and the inconvenience of the building work that was going on at the time, we were very happy with our stay here.
The room itself was good - a nice clean modern bathroom, and plenty of space in the room, with a good sized bed.
Aside from the hotel, we didn't very the...

We booked this hotel for a one night stopover on the way back from our honeymoon in the south of France. We wanted an affordable room as a functional base.
The staff are polite and helpful. Our double room was a strange mix of designs but appeared clean and comfortable. At 30 degrees C outside, the room's aircon struggled and...

Having read most of the reviews and having wanted merely a place to use as a base, this hotel didn't sound/look bad for the price. In fact it wasn't awful but mediocre would probably suffice. It's fairly close to most things, though you do need to like walking. We walked to most of the tourist spots from here but there...
