This place is a very Parisian style boutique hotel. Cosy, charming and well located. We are definitely coming back. The boulangerie close to the hotel serves an outstanding pain au chocolat and delicious croissants. Very close to the Notre Dame church and nice places to visit and eat nearby. more

perfect location, and wonderful front desk and doorman. BUT the air conditioning did NOT work the two nights we were there, the clothes storage space is virtually non-existent, And even a careful shower by a fairly small person required 4 towels to mop up the floor. You also risked life and limb getting out of a very slippery tub. The... more

My Wife and I found this hotel to be excellent - the location, just one street from the River Seine and Notre Dame was perfect - it was a few minutes walk to the Batobus river stop, which is a great way of getting around the main attractions in Paris. Its also near the metro and only a short ride... more

The Colbert is a charming hotel of above-average quality, though overall quite typical of this level of charm and comfort in a tourist class hotel in Paris. The most impressive part of the Colbert is the entrance. Down a small side-street in the twisted lanes of the Latin Quarter, one block from the Seine river, the hotel occupies a building... more

Booked this through Lastminute as one of the top secret hotels and got for about 160 yoyos per night. Location was 100% based 30 seconds from Notre Dame off a little quiet street. Hotel was top class, admittedly the rooms a little tired, maybe this is French Shabby Chic but we only slept in the room so this did not... more

My wife and I stayed for our ninth time at this gem of a hotel in April, 2009. Last year I wrote a somewhat critical review of the establishment as it needed some improvements. This year was a return to excellence. The hotel has installed HD flat panel TVs in the rooms and the selection of stations has been expanded.... more

the hotel melia colbert keeps up to its four stars qualification. its location can't be any better: right next to notre dam. the hotel has a lovely french style and the room are beautifully decorated although the are a little small and there is no proper room for the bagages. the only other inconvinient was the toilet wich is divided... more

Excellent location but room in the eaves was in keeping with the quasimodo theme,a hunchback would have had difficulty using the shower. On checkout our friends were charged nine euros for a three night stay,"tourist tax" but when my husband questioned this we were only charged six euros! Have travelled extensivley in europe and never encountered this make it up... more

The location of this elegant building was amazing, practically on the Seine. Staff is the best, really helpful and friendly, all of them seem Spanish, they also accommodated easily our son who wasn’t expected to come. It is rare to find such a good service in France especially in Paris. Room was clean and large for the location but some... more
