this hotel is perfect for the prices it offers. The rooms are confortable an clean with a modern design and it is not far from the center of Paris. I spent one night there in the room of the 6th floor. It have an amazing view over Paris (you can even see the Eiffel tour from there). You can go... More

I was on vacation with my family and spent 4 wonderful nights in the hotel. It has a really good location. The view from the 6th floor balcony is excellent and you can enjoy the lights of Eiffel in the night. Montmartre is in walking distance, downtown can be reached with the city's splendid metro system with ease, 2 stops... More

My friend and I stayed here over New Year's and had a wonderful girls' getaway. The hotel is funky, charming and in a great location - away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist sites, but not far enough away to be inconvenient or isolated. There is a subway stop nearby, but we chose to walk to the major... More

Our stay in Des 3 Poussins was enjoyable, rooms were small but clean and they were serviced/ restocked each morning. My only complaint is on our first night we were given a twin room rather than a double. When we notified reception we were told it was their fault however they had no available rooms. We were offered no real... More

This is a lovely little hotel. My boyfriend and I went to Paris for 3 nights, so wanted a nice, cheap hotel that was close enough to all the tourist attractions and to Gare du Nord. It's about 20/25 minute walk from the station, and quite a lot longer down to the river and the places round there, so be... More

Very charming hotel located near Montmartre. Close to metro and at walking distance from Gare du Nord.Fully renovated and very clean. Very nice breakfast buffet. One negative thing: breakfast for children has same price as for adult.

Really lovely hotel in good district and close to restaurants, shops, the Opera, Pigalle, Montmartre and a metro station. Direct line from Montparnasse and easy walking distance of Gard du Nord. Rooms are small but this is usual in Paris. Friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast.

Cosy hotel close to nice restaurants and bars but far enough to be in a silent and tranquil street. Gentle and helpful staff. The rooms are not very big but it's quite enough for a short stay and they were clean and confortable with free wifi and large bed. We did'nt have breakfast so I can't comment on that but... More

Hotel des 3 Poussins was one of 3 hotels recommended by our TA. We were very satisfied with our choice and would return again. As others have noted, the rooms are small having been built for an earlier era with smaller beds, and only bothered us because we had a fair amount of luggage due to length of trip through... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
