We stayed the first week of our honeymoon at the Hotel Powers because our original hotel was undergoing renovations that were delayed. I was so happy we were upgraded! We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our window and the breakfast was top notch! There weren't a lot of inexpensive restaurants close to us that we could recommend,... More

Stop worrying and book it. I looked for 2 months, booked a different hotel, had a last minute cancellation of my original hotel, and booked Powers Hotel. So glad I did. It is steps off the best stores in Paris - the Champs-Elysées, walking distance to the Eiffle Tower, the Louvre, the metro to get EVERYWHERE, near the Seine, and... More

The Powers hotel has a Helpful, knowledgeable staff, well appointed rooms and is very convenient to main attractions. The breakfast service is delightful with special dishes available on request. Hotel bar is charming and comfortable. Several excellent restaurants are nearby - Chez Andre, L'Entrecote, Mario and Jeannette's. The FDR metro is just a block away on the Champs Élysées, and... The desk staff was awesome. The gentleman called and confirmed my ride to the airport. Another gentleman at the front desk was persistant until we got Bank of America on the phone (I forgot to tell them I was traveling outside the U.S.). The room had old world charm, was huge and had a fireplace. The guy who assisted with... More

Our room (Jr. Suite) was palatial -- extremely large, with a fireplace and all other appointments one would expect. A drawback is the lack of electrical outlets, especially for laptops and iPads. And make sure that you bring adaptors. Windows were well insulated, so street noise was a non-issue. Bathrooms are large and recently remodeled, to include separate walk-in shower... More

Stayed here first for 2 nights, went to Fountainbleu and return again for the airport. Location is excellent, walking distance to a lot of interesting places. Close to shops, high end and middle range prices, lots of eating places, overall, an excellent hotel. At night, we used the lights at the Eiffel Tower as our night light, that's how wonderful... The place is amazing & the location is beyond greats, literally steps away from the champs-élysées! Only thing that needs consideration would be having food options! Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure)

We have just returned and could not have been more pleased with our choice. I agree with all reviews praising the service, the buffet breakfast, the charm of the decoration, not to mention the location. I have read critical reviews regarding the rooms facing the inner courtyard, we actually prefered it as there was not a single noise to be... More

The hotel is located in a wonderful location, easily accessible to the Champs Elysees, lots of great restaurants and shops. Our room, #32, was roomy and beautifully appointed with a fireplace. The bathroom was very modern and looked to be recently renovated. There were french doors from both the bedroom and bathroom onto a narrow terrace. The front reception was... More

Love it when you arrive at a hotel and are pleasantly surprised and with Hotel Powers that was definitely the case. Arrived much earlier than my check-in time and asked on the off chance if I could have the room early. After a quick tea in the hotel bar I was shown to my top floor room. I was staying... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
