We arrived at the hotel and been told that they don't have our reservation and the hotel is fully booked. The next day I check their website and there were plenty of rooms available. Yet when I mentioned this fact, they still lied to me me and said that they only have 1 room available and none yesterday. The reason... More

Bumped us up in a better room with a view. Great value for money. The rooms are very clean, confortable and soundproofed. Access to a balcony with a view on Paris roofs, Printemps, etc. I would recommend any day.

Location is great! Easy to reach, only 20 minute walk to the Louvre. Nice restaurants in the same street. Across the street from the hotel is a wonderful bakery, where we got our breakfast instead of paying 15 euro pp in the hotel :-). Very nice personnel, very friendly. Clean! And you could tell the bathroom was new and upgraded!

Location- it is located near Printemp and Galleries La Fayette. As in walking distance. You can also find pastry shops, cafe, bars, Orange, souvenir shops and a supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. Centrally located for sightseeing. Service is simply great. From the doorman to the hotel manager, they are very accomodating and helpful. Rooms are relatively larger than... More

Based right in the heart of the Opera district. Yet so quiet... friendly staff epecially nightporter who helped us with wake up call and from the lobby bought our luggage to the taxi for our early check out.. rooms newly decorated.. would definitely stay again. Ring direct as it was cheaper. Lovely cafes and theatres on the same rd.. as... More

I would recommend the hotel due to excellent location. Few metro stations nearby, restaurants and sightseeing, eg Louvre at walking distance. If you like shopping, this is your hotel! Biggest department stores Printemps and La Fayette just around the corner. Breakfast was good, also our children enjoyed it. Only one negative thing was the beige blankets with sheets, no duvet... Super location. Friendly staff and a generous buffet breakfast included. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation but our room was freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. So handy for transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport by the Roissybus which drops off and picks up just around the corner across from Opera Garnier. I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel... This hotels is in close proximity of all the attractions of Paris may be Champs Elyssee, Eifel, Nostroderm or even Moulin rouge anything for that matter. For foot for a person like me (comfortable in walking for a place as far as 4 kms ) or metro station just walking. Staff was friendly and speaks English very well. Room was... More

Location is very good , close to Train and Metro, and a walking distance from the Louvre Museum and the Opera . A lot of different restaurants and shopping center near the hotel. Rooms are quiet and very clean. Smell of the new paint is still too strong after the reconstruction of the rooms, Currently the hotel is under the... More

Charming hotel near the Opera with convenient nearby metro stops that is very reasonably priced. The neighborhood has lots of good brasserie-type restaurants that serve typical good, solid Parisian fare.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
