The hotel is ideally located, it is walking distance from quite a few attractions. We stayed there as part of a prize trip, a French Culinary experience, so we only made it to breakfast once. We had meals all day on our tours, so we just got a few things at the grocery store on the same street, light breakfast... More

On short notice, we planned a family trip to Paris for 7 days/6 nights. My two daughters went through so many of the hotel reviews on Tripadvisor and did a great job in finding Hotel Saint Petersbourg. We took a look at the website and were frankly skeptical of what we saw. Nicely decorated, more spacious than the average European... More

When we ordered our room, we chose a specific type fitted to our needs with an image displayed. We assumed our would look like the one we had on our confirmation. It did not. It also did not have an iron as it claimed.

This property is situated in the middle of the tourist shopping area. It's less than 2 min walk to Printemp and Galleries. Also, it's only a 5 mins walk to the Opera. The rooms are clean and of good size. The hotel provides the usual amenities and facilities. Check-in was prompt. The staff are helpful and speaks English. It's the... More

Great hotel, great staff and great food! The most outstanding feature of St Pete's is the service from each and every staff member. Well done! The buffet breakfast was a real highlight from the fresh pastries, yoghurts and fruit salads to the scrumptious cheeses and great coffee. Yum! Yum! See you again soon guy's.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our stay here was amazing!! Centrally located in the Opera district, it's a short walk to the La Fayette Galleries, and about a 20 min walk to the Musée du Louvre. The staff are very friendly, funny and extremely helpful! I will be telling everyone to stay here when they... More

Great hotel in great location - close to the Paris Opera House. Hotel undergoing some work but our room was large and comfortable with a terrace. The staff were really helpful (bear in mind this hotel is in the centre of Paris) and generous. The breakfast is OK - but it's Paris, there's a café on almost every corner!

My memories of this hotel had not failed! I was still impressed with the staff and the Hotel is improved since last time I stayed 2009 - refurbished and impressive! Super breakfast and services - we had rooms on the 5th floor with balconies - great decision the magic of Paris 24/7 I would only wish parking was available but... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
