Compact, clean and smart rooms, very comfortable beds. We were at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. Helpful and friendly staff. We were allowed in our rooms at 12.30 as we were early and they were ready. We could also leave our luggage in a luggage room after checkout to accommodate our train departure time. Only minor... Went as part of a big group. There was a bit of confusion when allocating rooms but otherwise very impressed. Small rooms but very clean. Good wifi and air conditioning, excellent breakfast. Very quiet location and easy access to the metro and Montmartre.

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting Paris. This hotel is very accessible being so close to a metro. Air conditioning in my room was a constant issue, I complained to the front desk several times a day and they would fiddle with the air conditioning controls. On the last day there was no hot water in my room... More

The lobby of the hotel looks nice. We had been allocated to a room at the end corridor of the first room. The room was small but sufficient. The room was clean and the bathroom looked decent. The view looking from the windows is poor - it liked a 'well' inside the building and people in the opposite can see... More

Rooms were tidy and service was quite good. The location was especially brilliant - there are many metro stops nearby and you can also walk to shopping streets. It was possible to order a pick-up car from the hotel to CDG at the price of 18 euros which was quite affordable.

I can recommend this any day. Less than 1min walk from subway and 50m from the rivier. Try get one of the front rooms. They are smaller and have no bath, but the street scape is worth it. Staff speaks English and is friendly. Don't have breakfast there, it is expensive and around the corner is lots of restaurants.

Staying in Paris several times a month, most the time in the hotels on boulevard Haussman, i discovered this little hotel just two weeks ago. Reason of this discovery was the fact that due to some major events in the Paris area, the hotels i usually book were overpriced ( +500€ night !) Although the accommodation looks quit old, i... I would certainly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean, nice decoration, very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Service was attentive. If you travel with large suitcases the elevator won't be very comfortable being so narrow. Location wise, it is around 20 minutes walking distance to the Opera. And close to Gare du Nord train station. Very practical. With... More

Loved this little hotel, and should I return to Paris I will stay here again! Location was excellent, right beside a metro station, key for a solo traveller as I felt very safe, never too far to go once darkness descends! Area was nice, with some beautiful restaurants nearby! Staff were very friendly and helpful, night porter doubles as a... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
