We stayed here last year and it was really awesome! It was really close to the metro and also was close to an entire street of vendors that sold all sorts of fruits, veggies, means and cheeses. For a few days, we were able to get some groceries for a picnic nearby. As for the hotel itself, it had a... More

Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Brittany it was very clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly and all spoke good English. We had one female receptionists and she was just lovely she gave us the best advice. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Paris it's in walking distance of a lot of... More

We have spent a lovely weekend in the hotel. Location is excellent, walk to the most tourist places takes about 15 min. Very kind, helpful and responsive personal. The room was small (as usual at the hotels like this, but clean, tidy and fresh).

The hotes is definitely built with desire and style. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and big for a hotel in Paris. The breakfast is wonderful. At least two types of fresh juices every morning. It is only on a 5 minutes walk from the Saint Lazare station and no more than 15 minutes walk... More

Nice room, great location. Everything was fine, but could do better in service at the hotel. Philip/Filip in the reception was really unfriendly, nonchalant & rude. Had a great time in the city Paris. Enjoy everything but beware from the rude receptionist Philip/Filip. ☺️

A strange little, but lovely, hotel in a great location. It has a a Scottish Highland theme to it which seems out of place in Paris but it works. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. On the down side is the lift (elevator) You can only get one person with a suitcase in at... More

Good hotel close to Montmartre and Moulin Rouge. Nice staff and clean rooms with good cleaning. The only negative things were the AC that wasn't adjustable, the view from the room was right in to another family's apartment across the street and the shower was a bit broken but still functional. I recommend this hotel if you want good value... More

We stayed 5 nights at Brittany. The rooms were not the biggest, but who stays in the room when in Paris? The hotel has a good location with walking distance to both Concorde and Montmartre. Only one minute to metro station. Rue de Martyres is just a minute walk away with a lot of nice restaurants and bakeries. Good and... More

For my two-week stay in Paris, I could not have picked better. The quiet, comfortable room had everything I needed included piles of extra pillows, a fluffy down comforter, a well lit mirror (a huge plus!), quality toiletries and a big sunken bath tub. I slept wonderfully, which was key, since I most of my trip was for business. The... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
